According to some sources, yung Helio G99 Ultimate po is a gpu-overclocked version of the G99. Around 10% overclock so around mga 1200 mhz from 1100 mhz. While hindi siya noticeable sa benchmarks, it could help games be more stable pag gpu -limited. It can make a 25 fps game at least reach 30 fps for stability.
The difference with the g99 ultra is that it is a g99 with an updated ISP for camera improvements, without oc sa cpu and gpu
Also, 720p is the sweetspot for this kind of SoC dahil it would lessen the load for the gpu to output those pixels. Plus, hindi it could save more battery. This is very beneficial as it could give 10-30% gpu boost since halos half lang ng pixels irerender compared to 1080p. Also, di rin naman halata yung pixels at this size at a normal viewing angle. I have the ipad pro m1 with 264 ppi (similar to this itel rs4) and an iphone with higher resolution. I cant even tell the difference unless I really look for it at sobrang lapit ng mata ko sa screen.
This device is indeed a "gaming phone" for its price range. It is a good move to overclock that gpu a little bit, and use a 720p, to better loosen the stress to the gpu. This could perform better than those 8 to 10k g99 with 1080p screen. Kudos to itel! Probably would buy one as a backup phone pag nalowbat ang mga device.
Dapat gumamit sila ng amoled kahit 720, and also lessen the bezels, napaka kapal even in 2024 standards.

May pa according to some sources kapang nalalaman tapos kini claim mo na overclocked version si G99 ultimate? then the reality is na budol ka ni itel and some na nag review ng phone wala naman talaga overclocked version si G99 na ultimate still G99 parin sya try search kasi bago maniwala I search mo kay MediaTek na owner ng G99 na ultimate na kini claim mo Kung may lalabas na G99 Ultimate na overclocked version doon I'm sure G99 lang lalabas doon Dali Mo naman budol tapos pinapakalat mo pa maling info haha

iTel is surprisingly good. For its asking price, ok na ok yung mga specs at actual performance. No wonder mabentang mabenta itong brand nito sa Pinas sa ngayon.
