#BlackSabbath #KillingYourselfToLive #MusicVideo - Zábava
i am turning 80 in a couple of weeks and Sabbath still rocks it so remember kids you are never to old to rock on keep it alive.
My dad listened to all theses heavy metal and rock and hard rock bands in the car and we were in the car alot since we were traveling some parts of america and i never listen to the music because i had my head in a phone and didnt care now i just started listing to mettalica black sabbath slipknot rainbow and alot of others bands im so glad my dad introduced me to theses bands
Rock on my friend, I am 70, and have loved them since their first album back in Feb 13 1970.
Hell yeah!! I'm 19 years old, but I love rock/heavy metal bands like Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Nazareth, Budgie, Saxon, Iron Maiden, and KK's Priest. And of course I will make rock music alive forever even though I like another genre music like pop, jazz, country, etc🤘🏻🎸🔥
Greetings from Manado (North Sulawesi), Indonesia🤘🏻🇮🇩🔥
This I shall never forget.
Rock on friend!!
(Too)
Bill Ward never gets the credit he deserves, he is their backbone.
Those fillers he does are so tight but he crushes them
This song is powerful on the drums I'm a drummer and beat ts out of my drums playing this with my headphones on. Sabbath fan 58 years old since 1980
There's always one or two
Bill Ward is a Badass!!!!….
Very true brother. He's not just some muffled bass behind the other instruments his bass playing is like Cliff and Harris. In your face
. Same ol story ...Singer or Guitarist gets all the attention. Except Steve Harris lol
There's no Black Sabbath like the original Black Sabbath and this song is a masterpiece.
It is. It's fucking timeless. Yeah, this song is amazing. This song, Paranoid, and Planet Caravan are my favorite Sabbath Tracks. I am fucking in love with Sabbath. Have been since I first heard them growing up. (Early 80s for reference). I got a few bands for you to check out if you have the time...The two bands were heavily influence by Sabbath and are incredibly talented and unique in their own right. I put them both right up there with Sabbath honestly. That's my opinion at least. Anyway, check out Electric Wizard and Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. Good intro songs to them are for Electric Wizard: Funeralopolis, Electric Wizard (self-titled song off their self-titled album lol), and Saturnine. For Uncle Acid: Deaths Door, Night Creeper, and Mt Abraxas.
Also, if you end up liking the song Funeralopolis by Wizard... You may really like the band DopeThrone. They are a super heavy sludge metal band. Chameleon Witch and Riff Dealer are two fantastic songs by them.
For sure!! Don't get me wrong, Ronnie James Dio was great with Black Sabbath also.
@@scottwillie9914 Oh yeah. Just prefer Sabbath with Ozzy. Feel they wrote far better albums back then. Geezer really had a knack for that early on
@@LemursManLemurs1 I agree
It's my favourite and I'm 58
Bill Ward, hair flying as he pounds the hell out of the drums......so hot! Love the original Black Sabbath! 🤘
Greatest drummer of all time !!!
I watch this just to gawk at him 🥵 and Ozzy's hair, too
This song has enough riffs to fill an entire album. Tony Iommi truly is the God of Heavy Metal \m/
Indeed
What are a riff
@@BrianBrodnax-bu6rp.. A riff is a slang word for bar cords, or a rhythm of bar cords put together. Its mostly used in the Rock and Metal world.
@@BrianBrodnax-bu6rpLOL
Thats how these drug fueled monsters of music did it back in the good old days
Black Sabbath ,The greatest group of all time.
No dispute there
Maybe erkin koray ?
@@bauer444 yes,me to😊
Yes besides Led Zeppelin
@@TysWifeyy I like the Led Zepplin song, nobody's fault but mine😊and stairway to heaven,I remember that in 78was12.
Bill Wards drumming is so filled with passion! What an inspiration he is for me. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Yes Bill Ward is a awesome drummer, awesome group
It's not easy to play for sure
Thanks Black Sabbath for all your wonderful music.
Yes I agree black Sabbath a awesome group
One of the best Rythm sections in history of Rock: Bill and Geezer.
@retroperitoneal I’d add Jones and Bonham
Bill & Geezer is the Ground on which Black Sabbath is Built , Superb
Yes,so true,and ozzy,great singer.
@@wolfech1 very true, but they are all amazing musicians man :)
Absolutely Truth !!
Dude, Sabbath was so fuckin’ ahead of their time.
No they were timeless
time was ahead of sabbath
Really? I'm no expert on Rock, but groups like Sweet did songs similar to this around 1971. So did the (girl) group Fanny (check them out!). And neither of these groups were first. They took inspirations from The Who, The Animals, Jimi Hendrix, and many others.
but they lasted the test of time, that's for sure
@@herrbonk3635 As you state you are no expert. The Sweet although good where a glam pop band. The other legends you mention are totally different then Black Sabbath.
The fucking solo is good it literally makes me shed tears 😭
You see the grown men in the crowd crying! Powerful stuff!
Me too I’m glad I’m not the only one
Niice!
Yep
Now learn to play drums and play this, not easy and you'll burn a lot sweating trust me 🥁
I love early Black Sabbath
Ozzy's vocal range was insane on sabbath bloody sabbath!
And it was even crazier in Sabotage
Yes Ozzys a great singer and Great group 😁
@@luisemilianogonzalezvinces3400 Yeah Sabatoge was the most underrated album. My favorite to listen to still today. No hits, but Sabbath's best was not just the hits. That was Ozzy's best.
Megalomania...The writ...omg Sabbath Bloody Sabbath was as close to that as they ever got. Ozzy's prime. I had that tape in my boom box driving my Ford Pinto like it was a Mustang with an Alpine stereo.
Don't forget Sabotage man...he was outta this world on that one to🤘
Yes I agree Ozzy osbourne a great singer and a great day to you
Pioneers of rock, metal, thrash, death metal. Well, life in general
I'd buy that...
Hard rock is how I've always seen them untill the late 70s, then things blossomed.
@TheGreaterGood80 Into the Void, too.
Ace of spades. \motor head/
@Chris Cull why you butt hurt over thrash metal? Rock n roll spirit runs through a lot of 80s and 90s thrash. Thank Sabbath for starting it.
What Black Sabbath song reminds you of death metal?
There is a few things that make me feel so proud to be English, and Black Sabbath is one of them 🇬🇧💜
Hell yeah brother
Two great things have come from Aston, Birmingham. The Villa and Sabbath! ;)
Yes,me to,my granddad was from England😊black Sabbath a great group
The other one would be Rainbow...(though more multicultural?)
@@Havencheese Geezer is actually a Villa fan
Black Sabbath was literally the inspiration for a whole bunch of bands and genre's
An infinite* bunch
Zappa knew👍
This one reminds me of the shadows band he was influenced by
@@marklane870 Yeah, Tony Iommi was a big Hank Marvin and Shadows fan 💯.
this is one of the best sabbath songs, and yet one of the most underrated
Absolutely, right on brother.
Agreed!!!!!
Matheus Navarro , Absolutely, as a kid I played this song over and over, bloody brilliant! Still one of my favourite Sabbath songs.
yes,my friend,it's one of their best,as sooooo many others.i don't believe it's underrated for people who like Sabbath.maybe only for the charts, but for us is another great hit, from the biggest band ever!
costas komodo , Hi mate, Technical Ecstasy seems to be one of those Albums that doesn't get much of a mention and there are some wicked tracks on that one, correct me if I am wrong but I heard Tony Iommi produced it as well.
Bill Ward... just killin it!
He is a beast on the kit!
I've never enjoyed any drums as I enjoy his!
BILL WARD 💕
His snare sound is primo.
No Bill No Sabbath!!!!!!!
Yes yes True!!
But I really love Tommy Clufetos.
He also fkn great drummer.
Ozzy has the best drummers Bill Ward and Tommy Clufetos.
They are genius!
But Bonzo and Ian Paice are not bad certainly !!! :D
I’m not exaggerating when I say that this album saved my life; I latched onto it when I was going through an awful depression and it gave me something to focus on to keep me from doing something stupid 😻😻😻
Doin that right now brother 🤘🏼 .. goin thru the worst breakup of my life. Just turned 30….. going back to this shit my brother and uncles used to play all the time and what I listened to in elementary… is saving me ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
You're not alone. "You work your life away and what do they give?" I've been fortunate to thank Geezer Butler himself for this one and a few on "Sabotage" that helped out some decades ago when times weren't that great.
@@andi_xi Sabbath has a fucking powerful music that can make you feel better even in the worst part of your life. Keep strong and keep rocking, good luck
Thanks everybody!
That's funny a your comment cause that's exactly what bands have is there own style and sound lol
Ozzy's voice is so iconic. We have not seen anything like it since and there will never be another.
All them witches

Check it out
💯 Ozzy has a very unique and haunting voice, which fits perfectly for Black Sabbath.
A ton of later doom metal singers try to imitate him but there’s definitely nothing like the original!
Yes i agree 💯 Ozzy is awesome singer, alot of great songs ❣️ have a great day
Ever heard of Bon Scott?
All bands need to study Sabbath to see how it’s done. Too many bands just hammer away on one type or style of song over and over. The thing about Sabbath is their smarts, variety. Never boring, always fresh. Good on ya, mates
Billy Corgan slept in the next few days
Thank you for your time and consideration
Nolan 🌟
Your killing yourself to live jokingly said you were going to be a little late today and tomorrow and tomorrow night 😬
Right on Frankincensed! The Sabs were NOT one ...or even TWO dimensional.. They might have been 'focused' because that was their sound.. In all reality though, they drew from a full pallet of musical history.. They knew it ..and used it well.. ; ^ }
Enough riffs to record an entire album. But no, the man thought "it's OK for one single song!".
And then rode the bloody horse (still playing a couple of more riffs)
His hands knew there wasnt enough time
Rifftastic
That’s how it was when popular music was good
and he did it song after song after song
One of the best songs EVER !!!
Yes a awesome group and song
This song just popped into my head.
Had to listen to it.
And as usual I am blown away from it.
Even after all these years.
They were ahead of their time.
And still relevant today.
100👍👌🤘🤘
All these crazy virtuosos with their technical masterpieces will never create anything heavier than what Black Sabbath did with 3 notes.
The song I'm referring to is Black Sabbath. On the album: Black Sabbath. By the band: Black Sabbath. Black Sabbath, Black Sabbath, Black Sabbath.
Although Iron Maiden, Iron Maiden, Iron Maiden was pretty good too
@@lordthicknipples-gt2oqIron Maiden was the best on the first three records, piece of mind is good however the record Killers on the drums is fantastic

Ozzy is the greatest hand clapper in the history of rock-n-roll. The Laurie Partridge of hand clapping. Fantastic.
Facts.
He's murdering wasps and butterflies alike and taking no prisoners
There's the one guy in the audience giving him a run for his money

Thats how hes controlling the stage lighting..they are all plugged into a clapper👏👏👏😂🤣
Stop the madness, stop the war and listen to Black Sabbath ☮️
Прекрасный Оззи и Айоми и вся группа
The transitions in this song are unbelievable. Starts out as a typical heavy metal style song and you're thinking "Oh, I know what this is..."... Then it turns a corner into that sexy groove "smoke it, get high"... and then they EXPLODE into this fast paced rock n roll outro. Which honestly... it seems like you could just about get on the floor with a girl and dance to. lol. What a song
That's the SBS album for you!
Yes, sexy. Before twerking had a name.
@@Losrandir sexy bloody sabbath
I love that ending ! Makes me just feels like head banging
They don't call Iommi "The Riff-Master Extraordinaire!" for nothing... 😊
The best band of all time hand down
Black Sabbath is and always was my favourite band. I remember back in grade 6, 1972 my friend turned me on to Paranoid. That was it! Black Sabbath fan ever since!
Yes black Sabbath a awesome group I remember the song iron man in 1972when I was 6☺️ and loved them ever since then
Same with me except my dad turned me on to Sabbath and I was hooked on their music and still am starting when I was 11 in 1986 still a big of a fan as I was then long live BLACK SABBATH
My dad used to blast Paranoid when mom wasn't around.

How great they were. Incomparable. No one can touch them. So glad they're in my lifetime. Best heavy band by a mile!
I feel the same way! I have listened & love Sabbath since I was 10 years old ,I am now 60. 🤟
Always had Sabbath on every computer, every iPod, every phone, and every car I ever had since I was 15 . Their music makes me so happy.
You can't get tired of sabbath I love how Toni's riffs change. From the beginning of a sabbath song to the ends its an ever changing story great thing about sabbath
You freaking CAN’T get tired of Sabbath! Greatness is never tiresome!!
Ozzy's vocals definitely at his best in the 70's!!
Black Sabbath Wrote the Blueprint for all Heavy Metal. The GOATS.🤘🤘🤘🤘💯
the vocals is just super amazing here OZZY
All Hail The Mighty Black Sabbath.
The most lyrical bands in all of time! Everyone likes a catchy tune, but Sabbath makes you think on a different level! One can only sing about slappin hoe's an selling dope so many times, The lyrics to Black Sabbath songs transcend time an culture they are for the conscious mind and as applicable today as they were the day they were recorded!
slapping hoes and sellin dope lmao
Ozzy's The godfather of metal this is where it all started with the best Black Sabbath
Tony's mustache stole the show.
I found myself with Black Sabbath.I am 64 and still loving this band. The whole band rules the rock world
From "Black Sabbath" to "13" and every album in between, Sabbath have the final word on the meaning of Heavy Metal.
And all the other genres ..
I haven't even heard the whole Heaven and Hell album yet...I've got some catchin up to do, eh? You can stuff Born Again tho ( no offence to Ian Gillan, another of the greatest voices In Rock😉)

The King of heavy Rock one and Only OZZY 🎤🎼🤘🤘🤘
I love you Black Sabbath forever
ME TOOOOOOOOOO
Damn!!
That's awesome...
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is a brilliant album . more riffs in one song than in most bands full albums. haven't listened to it for years. its coming out of hiding now, just what I need right now to release my anger at lockdowns.
Yah, and the fkn aftermath of it (2022). We need music more than ever now!
I love listening to Black Sabbath during hard times, like right now where I have a crippling leg injury to where I can’t walk (I sprained my ankle four times). I almost misspelled it and my brain almost accidentally made me write sprayed instead of sprained lol hahaha! 🤪🤣 😝 And I haven’t gotten enough sleep because of bladder issues (because I peed four times during the night lol) !🤣 I’ve dealt with this my whole life and when I have a full bladder , it’s sooooo painful!🥺 :( When I go pee and empty my bladder it feels so good though; I don’t know why? Probably because my poor bladder is probably so glad to get some sweet relief . 😅 🥲 😮💨 🤷♀️ I have always dealt with this and I’ve adapted , so it hasn’t been a problem , but it is annoying when it keeps me up . That’s why I’ve been trying to create a plan for that , like peeing and emptying my bladder before I go to bed , drinking enough water throughout the day , and quitting drinking water right before my bedtime . In addition, I make sure I’m eating enough too . I love Black Sabbath; I am a big fan of them and I love Ozzy Osbourne’s voice ; it’s so good and it helps me get through tough times ! Thank you Ozzy and Black Sabbath!💕🤘🏽🎸
Get well soon, Lady Bladder 😊! BERNIE GERMANY BOLLYWOOD LOVER 😊

The music anyway. 1 down (Ward), and ol Oz ain't in the best of health. How he's still alive I'll never know; I guess Sharon saved him from himself. Anyway, glad I caught them in 2013. 2 times I saw them in the later 70s...and they sucked! It was ok, tho. Van Halen blew them away opening for them on their first tour (78)
I love how literally nobody sounds like Ozzy's singing and yet it sounds so badass
Another typical awesome Sabbath song with no truer words spoken & not much has changed over the last almost 50 years since I was a teenager. The irony still boggles my mind. Rock On!.

Right, when's that time travel thing comin along, Elon?
Favourite singer of all time ❤
I think he has a great voice ...one of my fav too ;)
He does, he is as real as real gets in his art!
Even at his finest, Ozzy can't beat other singers of Sabbath. He is not a good singer, you can't deny that. Maybe in seventies he was OK compared to the other singers of that era. Ozzy(early) should be in the "top 50's" list of best heavy metal singers, but he is not the best. After 76', his voice got destroyed by drug and alcohol abuse.
The Best Band ever . ❤️
Verse 1]
Well, people look and people stare
Well, I don’t think that I even care
You work your life away and what do they give?
You're only killing yourself to live
[Chorus]
Killing yourself to live
Killing yourself to live
[Verse 2]
Just take a look around you, what do you see?
Pain, suffering, and misery
It's not the way that the world was meant
It's a pity, you don't understand
[Chorus]
Killing yourself to live
Killing yourself to live
[Guitar Solo]
[Bridge]
I'm telling you, believe in me, nobody else will tell you
Open your eyes and see the lies, oh yeah
(Smoke it, get high)
You think that I'm crazy and, baby, I know that it's true
Before that you know it I think that you'll go crazy too
[Guitar Solo]
[Outro]
I don't know if I'm up or down
Whether black is white or blue is brown
The colors of my life are all different somehow
Little boy blue's a big girl now
So you think it's me who's strange
But you've never had to make the change
Never give your trust away
You'll end up paying till your dying day
I think its how people look and stare not well
thanks for the post
Yes a awesome song and group

Iommi's riffing around the chorus is magical.
The early 70's were an amazing time for music. A number of still existing sub-genres got established during those years.
Ward one of the most underrated drummer . He's attacking them drums with force!!!
For me Geezer is one of the greatest lyricists of any genre. His lyrics are criminally underrated. Some of them border on Kierkegaard.
But it wasn't Geezer who wrote that song. Bill Ward wrote it.
@@pehbs3224 Then you must not know much about Sabbath then. Like every song from the period with Ozzy, Geezer wrote the lyrics(words). Bill Ward was too incoherent to write lyrics as good as Geezer. For all of the early Sabbath records, Geezer Butler wrote the lyrics. Bill might have come up with the title, but Geezer wrote the lyrics(he claims they were written after a stay in the hospital dealing with kidney problems from drinking too much)
