Gweike Cloud Pro 2 55W CO2 laser first cuts new user

EVERYONE says that the focus adjustment n the GWeike Cloud is not very intuitive and they were right! On my version of Lightburn (1.1.02) go to the “move” tab, hit Focus Z which resets the lens (may not be needed every time but I did it to make sure), set your distance (which the guides say is 17 minus the thickness of your material but this was not my experience) I set mine to 4mm for 3mm ply, then hit the move Z- ONCE and this is the result I got. Only spent a little bit of time on it so as I figure more things out, I’ll post more content.

Greate video :D just a Q......why do you use the down arrow and not just hit the start button when you have set your hight/material thicknes? I only use that and the machine will then go to the pathern Im gona cut/engrave, lower the head and starts the job :D

Because this was my very first time using a laser with a powered focus, so I was not aware of how to change this. I have today discovered and switch on the "Material" box which allows me to adjust the height per run, and that has been successful so far.
