Rushworth is an unbelievable keeper, hope he got a bonus for this game. He should put these highlights on his video CV the guy deserves a chance in the Premier League. Best keeper in the Championship at the moment.
Very poor officiating yesterday. Soft sending off. If the ref was being consistent their number 15 Rusyn should have had two yellows as well. We were lucky and hats off to the team for sticking bodies in front of the ball. Rushworth had a great game. - as did all the team, although Ashby had a tough afternoon. Good point in the end which I think will lift the team. It’s work in progress for sure and I’m happy with that progress.

Really harsh second yellow for Pats, but a silly challenge to make in that part of the pitch when he's already been booked. He will take that as a learning curve I'm sure. Rushworth is the best keeper we've had in a fair few seasons.. maybe as far back as Fabianski or at least when we had Freddie Woodman on loan.

little or no contact and a lot of acting from the Sunderland player twice! when is pretending to be hurt going to be punished? retrospective action should happen in these kinds of incidents. Madley should really not be allowed to ref with his history of being banned. Standards have to be higher than that. Read his wikipedia page, it's very damning

Yep, worth speaking to Brighton, and then tie him down on a long contract. Though BHA don't really have a top GK so not sure they'd want him to leave
refs are bad in the championship as a sunderland fan i agree harsh sending off, but we got on the bad end of a terrible sending off at home v middlesbrough if you dont have var or dont get it installed for the championship at least have decent refereeing in place

He will get his chance soon. He is now fit. He had no pre-season training, so was behind in fitness. He is on the bench now regularly.
