It's still an awesome soundtrack but after hearing the c64 practically levitating off the desk, it was weird to hear this slightly clipped, stilted version. I think the shitness of the port didn't endear me to the game. that scrolling was unforgivably crap.
What happened when you tried rendering Stage 5 yourself before asking TheDuccinator for help? Besides, I notice that the render in Stage 5 looks cleaner than the rest of the tracks' oscilloscopes
The main reason is that the program I was using kind of gave up when rendering it. The stage 5 song was rendered without any interpolation or filtering.

gUiADE is a bit finicky to use.
How does the second one down switch between pulse and Noise?
Since the Amiga has a sample-based sound chip, everything you see and hear here is a sample.
How is it switching between pulse and noise though? I'm not sure I'm hearing a particular noise.
