Lol, why not play the game and find out instead of assuming. There are different servers but trust me it is balanced. Unless you're just terrible at reading and class building.
The pvp is really bad, for example, its all around the meta things, which means the highest dps, and it scales into a simple astral flare does 3,5K damage, its the thing with 1,3 sec cooldown (If you haste it it will be lower). So, i tried pvp a lot, my builds are really weak compared to the meta things, (I will not try meta, since its destroys the whole point of the game). But no, not the meta is the biggest problem, the problem is the blizzard-like battleground system, it allows players to join battlegrounds in the last minutes. We did a really good teamwork today, then a strong god-like player joined into the enemy team, destroyed our flag carrier, and we lost. This is not fine, this is not battleground, this is GAMBLING! Extremly disguisting gambling. I'm sure that thing exists in the latest World of wacraft also. So, if someone want to go to pvp in ascension, its okay, but if you hit level 70, you find yourself in a hell, of course, there is a prestige system that lets you reset into level 1, but there is a problem with that: Whats the point, if you start again from level 1, while your goal is to create a build, that good? It just forces you, to use Meta things. To solve the meta things, they need to add unlimited amount of variations. Because, there is not enought way to modify your build, it just basic abilities, few mystic enchants, and thats it, what it means? It means, that you can't create an unique build. Every build someone creates, already figured out by others. To look at the thing, "Already figured out by others" I play area52 server, in this server, you simply just inspect someone, and see that player's mystic enchants. This is a bad thing, this thing cause your build to be not unique since its really easy to reverse engineer it, second, it makes you feel like that you are worthless. So yes, this server is fun, until you see how limited is it. Its even more limited than the original wow. What i can say? Classless? No, i mean, it got less Meta classes, than the all other classes in the original wow, even if they not meta.
the pvp is shit and rogues are a waste of shit on the shit area 52 server no damage 1 v 1 you will die to a god that hits 500k+ damage and you do 50k ish will fall over dead isnt even worth refering a friend so they can lose constantly and make some ass hat get off cause he moreless has cheated his ass off knowing what abilitys havent been nerfed
