EDFA having 19 dbm output Power, Optical receiver Passive Need +2 to -8 and Optical Receiver Active +2 to -15, having Fiber Loss and Coupler and splitter loss in Network . if you have standard power for receiving signal till end you can connect.

the power is too high, will affect the machine work. Actually, our engineer suggest 19-21dB is good. Anyway, you should make sure the analog RF signal is 2-- -7dB
