- How to get into London Business School? This video explains exactly what I did to get accepted with a scholarship with NO work experience in consulting or investment banking. I got my offer for a Masters in Management last year, and will be graduating this summer. This video applies to all LBS early career courses (Masters in Financial Analysis, Global Masters in Management, Masters in Analytics and Management) as well as the London Business School MBA.

First of all, thank you for the informative video, however I've a doubt with regards to getting into LBS for MiM via GRE. Is it a disadvantage if I apply via GRE because GMAT is more management focused and they prefer GMAT?
Or a person stands equal chance to get in irrespective of whether he's applying via GRE/ GMAT?

I found this video very informational. I went to school at independence university for business and sad to say I didn’t finish but I would like to go back because I want to open up my own business one day. Folks should also keep in mind that, although some schools are not requiring this year's applicants to submit a GMAT score, if you're a strong test-taker, you could arguably be at a little bit of an advantage over other applicants if you do take the GMAT and submit a score that is above the school's median score for last year's admitted class.

GPA must be 3.3 and above
You can convert and check if you fit the criteria
Total gpa divided by maximum gpa multiplied by 4

If u don't mind can you please share how your past academic affects the selection process. ( Soo I have had few hiccups in my academic background . I used to hangout with not soo good group of students 😬 to pull it mildly. But past is past I can't change it. On the LBS website it says there 4 100% tuition fee, scholarships. The Laidlaw women's leadership fund.
Did you not include this in the scholarship part of your video or like does the scholarship not include the entire amount.

I think it should be equal chance for both GRE and GMAT, if you can get a good grade in GRE
well no disadvantages for getting in but consulting and ib firms use gmat scores to gauge your ps ability which means you'll have ab upper hand at employment in highly sought after firms

So glad!! I am not sure about IETLS or TOEFL because I did not do these tests, but I am sure you can find it on the London business school website. Also, for a masters in management (12 month programme), the tuition fee was $30k. Stay safe ❤️❤️ Let me know if you have any more questions!

Yes 😊 The school does not need your final exams to accept you, they will just require you to send your full transcript before you start. You can get accepted well before you final exams.
What is the minimum age to get in to lbs?
I feel so awful because I can't sit for my GMAT or IELTS this year as everything is still closed, till next year.

For most countries you can sit the GMAT at home.
if you use graphical thumbnails, like for one page cv , I think the visualization would hep us more.
How much weightage do they give to undergrad scores?
My scores and average or little below average, but an great work ex, extracurricular, entrepreneurial experience, leadership etc and a 710 GMAT score .
LBS doesn't do specific weightage, they assess your application holistically

Do you know if there is a lot MFA students used their CFA level 1 as the gmat waiver. I am a CFA level 2 candidate from Canada, and I am really worried that the CFA along is not enough to compensate my low GPA (2.8/4, mainly because of my terrible first year GPA). Also, I noticed on the class profile that many students speak 3 or 4 languages, is that something LBS cares a lot?
Hello Cui. I know quite a few students who used their CFA as the gmat waiver. If you have great extra-curriculars, positions of leadership, and valuable work experience, you might be able to outweigh the lower GPA. For languages, because LBS is a very international school it is quite common for people to be multilingual - this is not a requirement though, neither is it something LBS will put emphasis on.
