- History abounds on this farm and does not disappoint. We found lots of old coins here on the last trip but this one we go on the hunt for the cannon battery....it did not disappoint.

I love it when you have Scott on with you. His accent is interesting. I have “Beans”, in my ancestry from Anderson and Campbell counties of Tennessee. Great entertainment Todd, thanks for the video. 😊
The think you found is a Ice cream freezer it goes on a wooden bucket . Or a churn .
That is a nice permission with some really good finds. Thanks for sharing the video, Todd! Always a great watch!
Great day of diggin!!! Thank you Todd for sharing it with us!!! I for one Truly Appreciate You!!! God Bless Us All!!!
8 quart ice cream maker
No doubt! Used one like that at my grandparents 65 years ago.
Thanks! I wonder how far back these date to? Strange to find it all by itself way out in that remote location. Makes you wonder....
Todd,
It's always relaxing for me to see you and your friend out and about.
As you become more proficient with those detectors, I know
we'll be seeing more awesome finds.
Take Care,
Rik Spector
Hey Rik thanks buddy. I actually took my ML out yesterday. I bought a new Pod for it and a new fiber shaft (before I got the Deus) and wanted to try it out...I killed it yesterday! So many finds on a battlefield.
I found my Patriotic button by going back to a site & further investigating.
Great video gentlemen.
🕶👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We do go back and Scott finds a Virginia Button. I didn't film the trip back though and we did better.
Todd and Scott, excellent civil war relics found. Loved the thimbles, ax head and buttons. That Cracker Jack token could have been carried and dropped by crows, they pick up shiney items. Beautiful landscape, Scott was hot on the finds. Take care and God Bless.👍😀👏
Thanks Twins. Never thought of the bird angle but that is a possibility. This find was far from anything.
1930s Cracker Jack coin was the coolest thing to me. Some kid probably dropped it running around out there long ago.
I tell you it was a killer signal. It was found so far from anything we were shocked to have found it there. Another commenter said Ravens sometimes will pick things like this up and carry them away. It is an interesting idea.
@@AppalachianHistoryDetectives Never thought about the corvid aspect but makes sense. Yesterday I dug up a U.S. Army WWI General Service Eagle medal in my front yard (in rural Georgia farmland). No idea how it got there, but maybe a crow or raven was involved.
Great job guys, love your videos can't wait for the next one, lots of love from West Virginia ❤️🙂
Todd great finds. Scott did awesome!! I was hot finding Civ last weekend. I found lead and 6 fired pinfire shells in a 5' sq area. A soldier was standing there emptied his revolver and I found them. Congrats and great video
Nice....and somber thought. Were you near a battlefield?
yes we hunt not far from a battle. we have permission and have been hunting there for about 5 yrs@@AppalachianHistoryDetectives
Homemade ice cream crank
Nice seeing you looking for old relics again! Thank you! ♥️
That crank with Frizzard on it looks like an old butter churn crank
I thought so too but some others say an early ice cream crank. I wonder how old it is....
Great finds Todd .
Thanks Ricky
Love that pistol part ❤ I found my first complete gun a little while back, a belly gun I guess they call them. I haven't done the video yet, Taking a break 😉 Nice to see your still at it 😁 HH Todd and take care 🙂 PS . Trying to decide on Deus 2 or Manticore myself 😄 so far thinking Manticore 😊 but my Nox is still killing it.😉
I'm taking a break too...I only plan on releasing one more video for sure and after that....who knows. I'm getting burned out...LOL. I certainly am impressed with the Deus, but there is a learning curve that is not for everyone. Frankly, I still go out with my NOX 800
Excellent place, took me back to the 70's when my first dormitory room was in Boteler Hall at Shepherd College. It has since been raised for renovations to their football stadium. Nice artifacts and gorgeous country. 👌✌
Thanks for sharing! We were right outside Shepherdstown at this location and you drove by it many times.
Hello from Knoxville. What a great place to hunt. I enjoyed the video. Sorry I’m late watching I spent Friday at the doctors. Stay safe say hello to the family for me.
All good Steve.....How about the men's basketball team? No4 now.
@@AppalachianHistoryDetectives they are playing well GO VOLS
Great finds!
A great location with a good friend
Thanks buddy! I went to the battlefield behind Jamie's house yesterday and did real well yesterday. They are placing survey stakes in the fields now.
Nicely done! The bullet may be a Spencer.
That 2 PC button is a 1700s button made before the blow hole button thats why it was in 2 pcs later they put holes in the back to relive pressure inside so they didn't come apart found 1 years ago just found out what it was recently great find 😀
Wow thanks for the info.
Hey buddy. I have had an offer to go up to Plymouth Mass to set up an environmental program as early as mid April. So I may be coming up your way and would love to see the Deus II. Great hunt video with you and Scott!
Swing by Gordon.....
thanks todd
Great hunt awesome finds hope to be able to meet up with ya this year for a hunt God Bless and happy dirt fishin…Virgil
Thanks! You too!
I enjoy your videos
Looks like the ringer to a hand cranked ringer washer.
let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
Frizzard is the crank assmbly to an icecream maker...
John Adams , May be one of the best early Cracker Jack prizes ?
Yes from 1930....hard to believe they were making these that far back!
Beautiful place......flat lol.
8 oz. frizzard Crank. went to an ice cream freezer.
Try crushing a thimble in your fingers, it’s obviously fire damage.
2 piece buttons are likely not revolutionary war. They came later civil war and post civil war.
Any idea what the Frizzard hand crank thing is?
Others have said a very old ice cream crank.
Love your channel.whats a good detector for beginner?
I would recommend a Garrett AT Pro for a beginner, or a Legend. In fact I would say Legend first. They are all in the $400-550 range but will find lots of stuff and you will have fun. A cheaper detector and you will tire of digging the high sounding trash signals.
