I can never be surprised by the bodges some people will do to save a few quid!
I've seen a coolant expansion bottle cap replaced with a WD40 red cap, stretched over the top. Customer complaint is "a bit of steam from under the bonnet sometimes" and "keep having to top-up the coolant"
How longs it been going on for we ask...
"Oh a few months, it's driven fine and no warning lights so I kept driving"
    🤦🤦🤦🤦

Part 2? I've got to find part 1. A bodged up Rover 75 is effing sacrilege. Shoot its last owner I say. This is definitely one of the best videos I've seen here in CZcams land. Good onya fella 👍 👏

I've consulted Jim Biscuits (myself) and he says That Saturday swap shop motoring petroleum head, Noel "King Dong" Edmonds should be on the other boot. I concur with my alter ego!

I'm not a fan of Eddie myself. Anyway, I gave one now 😁

No the wonder the radio bodge occurred, poor chap must of been high on petrol fumes.

In defence to them about the missing bolt on the inspection panel, that could be a project drive cost saving feature 👍 ... 😉😆

Mmmm nothing like the sweet explosive smell of petrol leaking into the cabin 🤠

Great video as always mate 👏🏼 love the fact that you are giving the car half a chance before breaking it.

Poor Albert, I hope he can be saved. That is a very smart looking car. It's a pity it's been bodged though. Probably owned by someone like my Uncle who bodged up George my Rover 214.

Uploaded at half past 11!? That's far too late 😉 - television was switched on, flicked through the EPG for 2 minutes... television switched back off again and will remain that way for a few months again probably.
I resisted the TV last night, and despite my desperation for content to watch, I can confirm coronation street content was not consumed at sammy seal headquarters 😌👍
Thank goodness for tonight's upload, if this broadcasting delay continued into tomorrow I might have had to fish the exercize bike out of the shed where it has remained for around 8 years now and become the Antarctics (other cold, seal habitat countries applicable) answer to Joe wicks..... 😂
Now better stop typing and enjoy this video, with a custard doughnut of course (closest one could have to mustard!!) 😆

I love reading your comments, Sammy, or should I just call you TheSeal?
Coronation is not as good as it used to be a few weeks back with resident Rover 75

    • @sammytheseal2307
      @sammytheseal2307 Před 2 lety +1

My comments are deliberately worded in such a way to add to the comedic* affect.
I do not watch Corrie so was not aware of a resident Rover 75, don't think that will make me watch it though!
On the subject of Rover 75's, I spotted a beautiful V reg one in my local village yesterday, it was so clean it looked like it's had a recent respray, so good to see one in good hands
You may call me anything you like, within reason 😀
(Same principle as you will do anything for money, within reason 😂)

Hmm, who to draw on the other boot? Perhaps it should be one of Tony Blackburn's contemporaries such as Noel Edmonds? Personally I'd favour Tony Green, the unsung down to Earth hero of 'Bullseye'.

  • @scottishcarenthusiastsandtrain

Wonders if stereo is powered by Petrol?? Defo agree whoever done the bodging must have been high on the petrol fumes, shame as in general the 75 is lovely.
