Feel for you no end. I’m 61-on March 17th, with two grown up boys to my first marriage. That lasted 18 years. Divorce and break up was not nice. Oddly enough though it always seemed inevitable and I think we both just waited until the boys grew up to split. Yes it’s odd when relationships end but as you say change can be both exciting as well as a bit scary. Glad you are keeping the animosity out of stuff. I hope to see my first Wife again after over ten years now when we attend our oldest Son’s graduation. I can honestly say I harbor not one jot of animosity towards her at all. Frankly we just grew apart and it was totally clear we wanted completely different things from life. You take care my friend and if you want any help with that motoring journalism give me a topic to review! (If you go travelling do keep us all in the loop with loads of video blogs)
How is he going to drive the other cars then? Other than that this sounds like a great idea for a CZcams channel. I used to run a forum for years and the management team (three of us) would travel past members twice a year, in a weekend, picking 10-12 members every time (obviously only the ones that wanted to receive us). It was a blast. with Ian's 25000 followers(and counting) this could actually give you a lot of good video material, and (member) cars to test drive. Ian... You may want to give this one a thought. It sounds like something people would watch.
A VAL mmmmmm worked for a coach company who still has one. Amazing to drive. The boss used to say if you bent it you were out of a job. I don't know if he was serious or not. It was great turning up in seaside coach parks next to all the modern machinery and being the spotlight for all the coach spotters.

Here's and idea, get an 70's or 80's Van, convert it in to a camper and travel the UK reviewing people's classic cars! You can put your van build in to a series too. Personally, your almost daily clips were such a joy to watch when I was getting over a serious operation last December. You were both part of my life at a very difficult time. Travelling-wise, I think that's a fantastic idea in order to get away from everyday life and give your mind some clarity and food for thought; it should also offer you some options for whatever future direction that you may wish to take.
