Simmons has given this Nets team a pure point guard the Nets desperately need that can fill up the stat sheet while also playing great defense and being the third best player on the team. It allows KD and Kyrie to just go off offensively on the opponent without having to worry much about getting the rest of the squad involved. And thus, Brooklyn is on fire now because of it.
I felt like the Simmons/Harden trade would benefit Nets more IF Simmons could get back to form and it looks like he is. Good bet by the Nets office.

You dont see claxton is comming. His body,shoulder and arm span is almost like giannis. More muscle into that and nets will get the best center in the league
simmons has slowly but surely been coming along...nets could be interesting come playoff time if he keeps his progress up
It's just injury run related. When he's had a good run without injuries he's played really well. Not at the same level as KD or Kyrie, but those guys are on a different level to 99% of the NBA.

Good win for the Nets. Definitely a different vibe and energy with their team play led by KD. The changes they have made and players health and availability has played a crucial part in their success. Didn't think Claxton was strong enough but he has proven his value although I like Sharpe as well. It was a good test and a great victory.

Nets have so much depth and firepower that even someone like Patty Mills can't get meaningful minutes - except for that game against the Pacers where they didn't play the entire starting five plus Seth Curry, and STILL WON. Patty finally got some minutes and ended up second highest scorer at 24. Then his next outing against GSW he shot 100% at a point a minute for 13 points, then got benched again after that. It's like what more can a guy do to get minutes on the court?
