The easiest way to make stairs is the array modifier according to me. Can you show how to make complexe stairs like stairs with railing in building, L shape, U shape and spiral stairs etc on 3DS Max and Blender? Also, for example, in video games, we can see complexe stairs with details like complexe railings, it could be interesting to see how you'd make it

Screw Modifier (0 angle, just screw)
Array Modifier, two axis
done
+ you can create a curve modifier and create a curvy stairs, just add iterations in Screw Modifier
