Hey 20syl, est ce que tu as fais le mixdown de ton morçeau sur software par la suite ou bien on entend le rendu direct de la sortie de la bestiole ? Il y a de quoi faire de bons mixages dessus ??
C'est le son direct en sortie de la MPC. Pas testé assez longuement pour te dire mais je pense qu'il y a du potentiel.

20syl has easily become one of my favorite producers almost overnight. He and Dilla are my top for those soulful yet hard hitting hip hop vibes
He and Turkman Souljah!!! Those two should get together.
That's what I was thinking. 20syl's beats are probably the closest to what Dilla would have been doing if he was still around.

Finally somebody that actually can play an instrument that uses the MPC LIVE.
I don't use a gas stove to cook my food. I use 20syl's beats. 'Cause each single one is straight fire.

I find it so interesting that he records real instruments, then samples the notes them selves, instead of just adding an instrument track in a daw or something. i geuess it give it that 'triggered' feel

How can I record drums into Mpc live?
Cool video, dope beat, but it doesn't show the MPC LIVE as anything but a recording machine. No features or special way to utilize it was used.
The song could've been made with any sampler out there :-/

la basse est en D.I. ? traité dans la machine, genre sim d'ampli? ou il y a quelque chose entre la basse et la mpc?
La basse est branchée directement dans la MPC, pas de traitement à part égalisation et un poil d'effet (fait dans la MPC)
j'ai vu que les fichier REX2 de Reason et Recycle sont compatible avec, putain ça va être la fête j'ai fait une chier de loop de ma batterie acoustique dans Reason recraché ça en live avec ce machin risque d'être grisant !!!
On veut voir ça !

20syl so it works with instruments also. Not only line in. Nice. Can you record your guitar with some effects but record only the dry signal? I know that wasn't possible in the Touch.
I'm curious if my AMPLIFi 30 works via USB :)
When recording Audio, open up the Channel-Strip within the hardware by selecting the (EYE ICON) . Now set up you input channel ( input 1)
If you apply any inserts at this stage they will be rendered to the recorded audio. To simply monitor the FX source, select the Crown (Master) icon which allows you to add inserts to the Master Audio channel outputs. This allows you to monitor the FX without rendering to the audio file.
La Boite Noire du Musicien yeah that's what I was thinking based on my mPc touch experience. I was thinking creating a separate track for guitar monitoring with fx like a bus.
Also I've heard Andy Mac talk at Namm about new guitar dedicated effects like an amp simulator. Is that in there ?
