Pulp Fiction is one of those rare films that no matter how many times you watch it you see something new. It never gets old.

They didn’t win the dance contest. But they did steal the trophy! You can hear it on the radio that someone stole a trophy at dance contest or something. Btw. Glad that you are so content in your life. May you always feel the same way! Cheers and thanks 🙏🏼

Bruce Willis was on a talk show, many years ago, i think it was David Letterman. Bruce said that he actually lived in that apartment complex. he said he stayed about 2 years when he first moved to LA.

My friend, I absolutely LOVE how sincerely childlike and fun your knowledge of moviemaking is! I also really dig this movie, so I've spent the last thirty years reading production notes and watching videos on how this was made.. but not only on this movie, many others. I enjoy the magic incorporated into the edits, how the exteriors are very rarely the same as interiors. I understand why, because they need to have much more control over the environment when shooting dialogue. But, man.. it was a delight seeing your reactions to these locations!!

My grandma and grandpa lived at a house way too identical to the heroin dealer, Lance’s house. It’s crazy how much that house looked like the dealers house. It looked exactly like the inside of that police chief’a house in LA Confidential too. Early Victorian style, classy and simple. Old school 😎

I was working at Walt Disney Imagineering when they filmed the scene at the Jackrabbit Slim scene. I remember looking out my office building window to see what star was getting their make-up/hair done in the trailer, and I was disappointed to discover it was John Travolta. Little did I know this movie brought back his career.(LOL - Missed Opportunity). Inside the building they kept a few lanes of the original bowling alley and we would bowl after work. Sadly they removed it a few years ago (the lanes not the building). And yes they only filmed the outside scenes there, inside was a bunch of office cubicles and happy busy people making Disney Magic.

But it's a convention that most reviewers use; when visiting a place on CZcams, they say what street they're on. It feels like something is missing if you don't. I'm not criticizing you.
And since you like locations, next time you're in Silverlake, check out the stairway from the Oliver and Hardy short "The Music Box". This is on 923-925 North Vendome Street near the intersection of Del Monte Drive. The location is almost exactly like it was 88 years ago. Cheers.

Thanks a lot, I think it's important to regularly check on these locations so we know what's up with them... IMO the movie sites of such important movies as Pulp Fiction (one of the top 10 movies ever made so far) should be considered as a cultural heritage of some sort and protected some way. It's absolute tragedy that people are allowed to destroy the whole places like Hawthorne Grill just because they didn't find it economically viable at the time... I thought at least Ebay would've been filled with props from that set, like the cash register or pictures hanging on the wall, but haven't found anything except for replicas... Apparently the whole thing was just torn down and is at some garbage dump... Makes me sad a bit... Glad at least some of the places still are the way they were.

Supposedly Kurt Cobain was offered the Eric stoltz role in pulp fiction but turned it down this is according to Courtney so it could be bullshit a lot of what she says is but Kurt did thank Quentin in the liner notes of in utero so there could be some truth to it as a huge nirvana fan and pulp fiction being probably my favorite movie I always wonder though I can’t imagine Kurt actually wanting to do it but it is crazy to think that might have even been a possibility
