I am here in Jefferson North assembly plant, Detroit. I am tired of this CEO is doing to us. He needs to go. We need help at our local 7, to many yes people are letting bad things happening inside the plant

My plant closed under the Obama administration, in the midst of our 12 yr+ period with no raises as our international reps gave themselves raises. Obama did nothing as our jobs went to Mexico. He did visit our plant to garner votes in his first campaign for President and thats all he did for us. My plant is an empty lot. We had no hope of going home. May as well get used to it.
I’m here @ Toledo, a transfer from BVAP looking to go back. The worker who died was @ the Gladiator side, I’m @ the Wrangler side. He was working an unfamiliar job & the sensor failed to detect that he was under the car working & moved forward killing him. They went back to production the next fucking day.

I think Stellantis wants a strike they over price their MSP 40% and can’t sell vehicles and now trying to shove EVs at high MSRPs. The CEO is driving the brands into the ground on purpose to fail. Maybe the great 2x grandson of Dodge/Chrysler will step in. I’m not a UAW brother but I am a Teamster and I stand with you!!

On the radio it's being reported that these are the affected plants because of quality and attendance. Vehicles needing more work post assembly. And it sounds like that's the company's stance is how there making it sound. That's why I mention because I only hear the union saying the contract is being broken by the company. But in actuality that contract is also based on plants meeting certain metrics. Sounds kinds like the old movie gong ho. Anyways this is just what was being played on the am news or close to it. I really hope people understand the opportunity and everyone goes to work and puts out quality. Don't give them a reason to void the contract. Auto industry is not good right now all around. All big three are trimming the fat because of the wasted money on ev and even better contracts. Bad time to be complaining and just pray a job is still there down the road
Unions cannot afford the" old timers" benefits pensions etc.... non union American worker's don't get pensions. They get 401k programs and social security. There are no pay guarantees for non union retirement. Should there be pensions and retirement programs for union workers when non union workers do not receive retirement payment programs?? My 2020 Ram 2500 is an awesome vehicle bit it was extremely expensive. 60k is outrageous. This is wrong is this is corporate greed ues or is this higher union wages than the average American wage. Union and non union wages and BENEFITS must be equal.
Unuon benefits are not equal with non union benefits. These union benefits are not sustainable. I stopped working a non union job and i get nothing. Only SS.
Do union workers get a pension retirement? I dont get a retirement from my employer. Union workers should have 401k plans just like me and just like other non union American workers. Governments and corporations cannot afford pensions. Vote blue for democracy 💙. The post office is the perfect example. No money for current employees because of past retirement pensions.
