Drone Views of Dundas Peak and Websters Falls | Exploring Canada

- Fall weather hit us here in Ontario, but we didn't let that stop us from heading out on Labour Day weekend. We decided to check out Dundas Peak, Tews Falls, and Webster's Falls in Hamilton, Ontario and captured some stunning drone footage!
Apart from Niagara Falls, the Niagara and Hamilton region in Ontario is known for its escarpments and waterfalls. We started the day by doing the Dundas Peak trail. This is a fairly easy trail, that only takes about 40 minutes to the top and back down. The views are definitely stunning from the top of the escarpment. To the right you see a vast green forest, while to the left you can see city views. The lookout point has no barriers, so you can head as far out on the ledge as you'd like (just make sure you don't fall!). Once you come back down from Dundas peak, you'll find Tews Falls only a few steps away.
Next, hop on the shuttle bus and head to Webster's falls. The Websters falls area is not just a waterfall! All around, you will see remains of buildings that were once thriving saw mills that ran off the power of the water.

A really great waterfall. Looks like a waterfall you'd see in South America. Not sure about the bus transport as you are then stuck with a bus load of people. Good thing you had your drone.
I know, the shuttle bus situation was kind of a bummer, especially since we had visited before and were able to just stick to our own schedule. It didn't end up being too bad though, the buses ran every 10-15minutes and the weather wasn't the best so they weren't too busy. Thanks for watching!
I’m a new subscriber. Loved the footage of the falls. I grew up I. Hamilton and would hike these falls back in the ‘90’s. It great to see them from this vantage point. Will now have to bring my kids to see these!
