Maybe one day I'll speak Russian too. Thanx for teaching. I hope the day will come soon when Russia and Europe can be friends again. Merry Christmas. Peace on earth!
Me too❤
Me too 😂🤍
Love the slow and constant narration. It helps me pick out all the words and phrases I know. What a neat and simple idea to help keep early learners listening to Russian! Thank you.
What languages do you speak?
@@Magnoliaflower- russian, turkish, english, german
@@Lehos_S very nice
@@Lehos_SI also speak Turkish and English and I’m learning Russian and German :D
I find myself constantly coming back to this video for the slow and clear Russian good job
Jordan!
This is my favourite format to learn russian!
Very well said ✔
Maybe some day in the future I will be able to read and understand Dostevsky and Pushkin in Russian language but at the moment to learn everyday words( вседневные слова) are very important for me . And this video does an excellent job doing so.
First I saw it without subtiles, and secondly with Russian subtitles. For the third time I will sit down with a notebook and write down all the new words for me. And its easy to learn the new words this way since they appear in context.
So, I plan to spend few hours to get the best out of this useful video lesson. Thank you.
Chekhov writes more simply, why do you need Dostoevsky?Dostoevsky is hard to read even for me as a native speaker.
@@Alexdrummer09 Ok Alex, its good idea to read Chekov first. Meanwhile recently I learned "Песня Крокодила Гены" Now we can sing it while you play the drums...🤗

After 30 years brake, O decided to restart learning russian. I'm glad I've found this channel. Nice video, thank you. I'm suprised that I still can understand almost everything.

Thank you for doing this.
This was fantastic.
Just like we teach children-- go about life while putting into words what it is we are doing.
Thanks for the video it's cool to see.
This was very helpful. I recognised so many more words than I expected to! I hope there are more videos like this:) спасибо!
I liked the video. I have been to Moscow when I was a student. We had to learn Russian at school, it was obligatory. During the pandemic, I decided to come back to the language - after 25 years. I liked your video with Max - And yes, I learn Russian to be able to understand what ordinary people think about this all. I believe all nations can live in peace.
🙏🤍🌸

Amazing vlog 0:12 ❤
Nice cat also😊
Nice 👍 sister
This video is rather fascinating. I'm only halfway through... but I decided to comment now because you requested it regarding the morning routine, specifically washing your face, adding moisturiser, sunscreen etc... as a male, it is fascinating and enlightening for me to see what women do, specifically women in Russia and how actual life works. I learned several new words, for instance "harm" and "harmful" regarding the incident at the Thai Salon. Your video I did watch with subtitles, so I used Yandex Translator to type in the word "harmful" and "harm" in English to get the Russian equivalents. I was also not familiar with the Russian expression "Я умываю лицо." so this is brilliant and very useful.
Thanks for urs sharing this beautiful video.. Sheila.. Is very cute & calm 😊... Breakfast French toast... Is yummy... But add some.. Onion & tomato.. While whiskey.. Egg batter.. See u in st. Petersburg

Shirmyrat
Namaskar 🙏🙏
Fabulous life. I like this format. Can you do your short videos in this format as well? I mean horizontal image not vertical one.
Thank you! Shorts are usually vertical, that’s the way CZcams intended them to be.
Hey, I'm from Uzbekistan. After learning English I realized that I should also learn Russian. Cause Russian is like the second language in Uzbekistan. So thank you your video was very halpful.

Thanks for sharing a day with Dasha! I would reciprocate but you would probably laugh too much....Well, there is time with the cows.
Hi dasha
So true about the extra size milk packages in the US 😅 By the way, after living here for a while, I am used to "croutons" being more сухари than гренки 😉 And since I usually make sweet ones, I just translate гренки as French Toast 😋 P.S.
I didn't even notice the translation from гренки to "croutons." You're definitely correct that we would call it "French toast." "Croutons" are small bits of crunchy breading that we normally put on top of salad. Nice catch! By the way, buying a gallon of milk at the store seems very normal to us, but probably lasts longer in the fridge than the 5 days Dasha quoted in the video, but it's definitely an item where we have to keep track of the expiration date! :)
Thanks and marry Chris mas and you are very friendly and welcome thanks again
I wish this perfect vlog had Russian subtitle too 😢
Hi! It does have Russian subs, you can turn them on
I think your vlog is very calm. 🙂👍

I don't know if it's the accurate translation of every word I said..
I hope it won't offend you & your other viewers here..)

Interesting and I learned some new words. Did I miss something or you didn't have tea or coffee? 😨Just a glass of water?
thank you. I had a cup of tea
@@RussianwithDasha That was the part I was most interested in. How Russians drink their black tea...
@@learnalanguagewithleslie oops! I had some hot cocoa, I made it in the video
@@RussianwithDasha I wasn't up to that part yet.
Interesting. Hot cocoa is more of an evening drink here I think.
Hi.
I m from india
Do you live in a Khrushchevka or a newer type apartment building?
Yes, built in 1961, but we renovated it and built walls differently
It would be nicer if you did make the Russian Subtitle accordingly. Thank you.
The Russian subtitles are added to this video, I don't quite understand what you mean, could you explain please?
@@RussianwithDasha I open the cc button but there is just English subtitles. Thank you.
@@phediabui6271 I just checked, there are Russian subtitles. I don’t know why CZcams shows no subs, I can see both Russian and English

Okay, I'm almost 9 minutes in and I'm kind of confused. Do you not take a full shower because of water conservation, because you are filming, or because of the fact that it's cold and you don't need to? I mean, I live in Maine in the US where during winter we can often match Russian Temperatures, but I shower in full every day and I was super confused. Not to be rude or prying, but I was just wondering if there was a reason?
😅😂 thanks for the comment. Filming, of course. Also, in Russian homes temperature in winter is around 20°C / 68°F. When I lived in Thailand, I’d take full body showers sometimes even 3 times a day to cool off, but in a climate like ours I believe that you don’t need to take full body showers every day. In fact, I think they are overrated 😂 Showering every day - yes, but only the ‘necessary parts’. Taking a bath or going to the sauna once a week to relax. Now I go to the swimming pool 3 times a week and I have to take full body showers there, I realised that my skin has gotten dryer.
What are the requirements now for a Russian tourist to America
It’s almost impossible to get a visa, unfortunately
@@RussianwithDasha if you already had one what would they ask
The requirements are the same. You must overcome this legal presumption by showing:
That the purpose of your trip to the United States is for a temporary visit, such as business, pleasure, or medical treatment
That you plan to remain in the United States for a specific, limited period of time
Evidence of funds to cover your expenses while in the United States
That you have a residence outside the United States, as well as other binding social or economic ties, that will ensure your return abroad at the end of your visit
@@RussianwithDasha oh wow that is really crazy. Thanks for the info.
@@davidduval5566 see the requirements above. For a self-employed person it’s much harder to prove that they are willing to return to their home country. If I traveled alone, I’d show my marriage certificate. Now I don’t receive payments directly to my bank account, so proving that I had been getting paid since 2022 would be difficult.
