I don't cry about it. I just avoid people simple minded enough to think that's okay.

The Pilgrims NEVER killed any Indians.
Only in Hollywood.
The first Thanksgiving was a three-day feast celebrating the friendship between both groups.
I'd hate my country too if I were lied to about it on TV for decades.
We were lied to about it even before TV was distributed to the masses.
True! It was later generations after the Pilgrims that had issues with the Indians begin
I’m black, 49.5% Italian, and have a surname associated with Japan. It’s adds up to a chaotic family with decisions issues.
Raiden is your surname ? 😮 the kami ? So cool!
The pilgrims were definatley NOT Irish...😂😂😂
Yeah what in the American bullshit is this
Yes there were. Maybe not all of them. But there were 2 known recored within the Mayflower in 1620
Between the years 1718 and 1775 there was an event called “The Pilgrimage” which essentially was just a shit load of people coming to a “The New World” or what we know as the United States today. And during that time more then 250,000 Irishman came over to the US
Slavery became popular within the US at around 1776. So it’s not out of the question if a bunch of Irishman were slave owners. Just like it’s not out of the question for African Americans to have owned slave, Hispanics to have owned slaves, Asians to have owned slaves, etc, etc
So yes, a small majority of the Pilgrims were in fact Irish. And yes, more than half of them were in fact slave owner. And yes, it wouldn’t be out of the realms of possibility for one’s ancestors to have owned another ancestors.
@@kingofkings3624It’s not American bullshit, it’s very basic history. If you knew it, you’d know that there were serval hundred thousands of Irish pilgrims, who would in fact later go on to own slaves.
@@SilverLegends_Gamingget your facts right mate you ever heard the term no dogs no blacks no Irish the Irish were the lowest of the the low they were made slave themselves had their land taken off them and were still slaves in the late 1800’s despite slavery being outlawed by the western world that’s like saying the Jews were just as bad as the basis because they were white because let’s be honest it’s a white thing for an Irish person to even own property was unheard off and before you say the Irish weren’t slave that late my great grandmother was an unpaid servant aka a fucking slave you absolutely idiotic being

His "slave name" was Lin, over a hundred years after slavery was abolished. Hollywood needs to freakin' go.

@@fatimas3915In order for him to accurately trace his last name to a slave owner (who could also have been a black man btw), he'd have to have been the male kid of the male kid by that name all the way to hundreds of years ago. Very few people can trace their lineage with that accuracy.

These two are so hilarious!!!!
Is he aware that the Apaches were not that peaceful either?
Homeboy it’s not rocket science, yes we are aware the indigenous peoples were not entirely peaceful, they like all humans fought wars, but the Europeans literately tried to exterminate them. It’s the equivalent of saying that Americans killed people in Iraq so it would be totally fine if the Chinese exterminating all the Americans.
Lol, No tribe was peaceful
@@seamus8695me when I spread misinformation, many were stop with the ignorance
Apache was not the tribe that called itself. The term came from their word for enemy And the pilgrims simply assumed that it was their tribe's name
@seamus8695 The Navajo were, and they got assimilated anyways by the religious settlers. Read anything about them and you'd see how important the tribe has been regardless. Like the code talkers for example.

"My slave name was Lin" is crazy considering his mom (who is probably black) named him that.

Because everyone forgot there were black slave owners
Edit: the ending of the clip was funnier
There were only ever a handful literally at the very beginning during the transition from indentured servitude to actual slavery in colonial America. That transition was stilled created by White and slavery was almost completely a White institution with the exception of a some Native chiefs who were gifted or bought slaves, but even then, Native Americans were far, far , far more likely to be enslaved than enslavers as outside of a few, slave owning was not a common practice.

Lol. Irish weren't responsible for killing Natives. They were considered to be a lesser class in the British isles.
In fact the Irish have a phenomenal friendship with natives because the Cherokee and Choctaw donated to the irish during the potato famine and most recently the irish have donated to my tribe during covid-19
completely backwards the english (british) gave the natives the same deal that we gave the maori, all the native americans and their land was protected by the king but then 1776 happened and we left, all of your land and all your people were taken by the irish and german immigrants that came after us lol
I mena the Irish still historically killed some natives even if it wasn't to the extent of the Americans butchering the native Americans. You'll find it very hard to find a single racial group that has not committed some sort of atrocity.
Some definitely did, there were Irissh on the Mayflower who y'know colonized this land lol
