Ace hood is the 2pac of my generation. There is nobody who matches his ability to speak to the truth of the world as a true poet. Every single word is significant. Every emotion is so real, even if you cant relate you can connect and feel it. Like a great movie. He speaks to us with true meaning, not just for entertainment.
I truly feel like i grew up with ace hood, and he was always there with a song to help me with life, the good and the bad. Those things you want to go so hard for, and the things you don't want to speak on. When i lost my daughter to a miscarriage, him sharing his pain and strength in that album was life saving. I really cant even put it into words. The way he speaks on his family and displays his wife as a queen, if you as real as he is you cant have nothing but respect for the man. A true role model for the younger generations to come.
Anytime i was grindin hard, his songs were the one that hit me with the true drive and ambition. That shit that makes your heart swell and feel like you can conquer the world. And to be a better man while doing it.
