Always a pleasure when a Goshawk appears in front of one of my photography hides. And then they start calling to each other...a thrilling experience! Pictures of this bird at: www.pbase.com/glennv/goshawk/
I moved away from home, returned. I walked into town, peruse the isles and such. I didn’t hear them walking into town. On the way back, this beautiful, sound, was, emphatic! I was like, thats a hawks, cry! Lots of seagulls in the area and pigeons. SW 🇬🇧 Up in a building, ledge. Two of them! Thank you for this video. I can finally put a face to the Calls. Goshawks ❤
From East London South Africa.. heard the ‘sound’ yesterday.. could not find bird with binoculars.. this morning..heard the sound again.. withhh binoculars againnn.. and THERE this bird was sitting ‘openly’ high up a tall tree…beautiful!! HOPE its back 2morrow morning.. then it will be /might be a regular visitor..😇
Had one of these magnificent birds diving and screaming at me this year in N. woods. must have been near a fledgling. Sure scared me at first. Didn't know what or why.
What a fabulous call. it's a pity you didn't film such a magical raptor for longer Glenn. And wtf is wrong with 50 people giving this a thumbs down? Duh! Thanks for sharing this.
Eastern Ontario, Canada. There's a mating pair of these nesting in the Sugar Maple bush behind the house. I've watched them take away fledgling mourning doves, baby Cottontail rabbits, and attack a Boat tail Grackles' nest.
Hi, would it be possible to borrow your clip of this goshawk for an educational not-for-profit short I am making on protecting the UK's birds of prey? I will credit accordingly. I would really appreciate it.
I started playing this bird call early in the morning just to shut those very noisy Koel birds that keeps waking me up at 4am in the morning and it works effectively
Pretty sure it was these monsters that attacked me on a hike yesterday. Walked by their nest on accident and they started swooping down at me and screaming like this. Not pleasant when it's directed towards you.
I typed “oh my gosh” and saw the word goshawk and now I’m interested
😭😂😂😂
I’m reading’H is for Hawk’ by Helen Macdonald, that’s why I was searching goshawk. Hopefully by now you’ll have discovered her amazing book.

Goshawks ❤
I wish I could be around these birds. My life would be complete
haha, they are everyday around my window, and it is difficult to sleep with them because they make a lot of noise
the goshawk lovers just came to listen the 5 seconds kek kek kek kek kek...im one of them.😂
I am using the kek kek kek kek kek to scare pigeons from trying their mating dance on my window. Hopefully they find another window to dance on.
Found a juvenile feather and was interested in finding out what this beautiful bird looks and sounds like. Thanks for posting.

This sound must terrify smaller birds the same way the roar of a tiger would terrify a human. A true apex predator.
Absolutely gorgeous bird the calling is a serenade
I play this when my pet ringneck dove won't shut up. Works every time!
lol
😂
Beautiful creature to watch. A day doesn't go by that I don't see a Goshawk & a Kestrel here in Arizona.
Lucky man....northern or southern az?........Calif guy guy likes northern az, maybe Payson or Flagstaff...love birds and wildlife
Don’t mind me, just cramming for my Avian ID exam tomorrow

Hawk screaming like sea Eagle White tail))
So nice calling
I get Pileated Woodpecker and Northern Flickers calls mixed up with the Goshawk, they sound similar at a distance, sometimes it's hard to tell.
they should of named it a Laughinghawk
Cat sounds

You can hear the high pitched Robin alarm call too
It looks a little bit like a peregrine falcon.

Beautiful here in Aylett Virginia. Also have 3 Redshoulder Hawks landing my yard area right now.
Oh sh!t I hear that all the time around my house, never knew it was a Hawk! Cool!
One of these things nearly ran into me while chasing a mourning dove on my backyard deck.
do you say screeching or screaming? solution: screeming.

Schitterend Glenn!
Scream starts at 0:27

Go head boy!
Predator no mercy
"screeming [sic]"? Is that the noise you make when you upload a video?
If you want to educate people on spelling, there are surely better ways to do so than with sarcasm.
KI KI KI AY AY AY
Sounds a bit like a Red Shouldered Hawk
뚜방뚜방
Sounds like a car starting up.
I caught a young male in my chicken coup, it was so beautiful....
