It's a high time women become knowledgeable about their rights when it comes to maternal and child health, cause many of this deaths both for the mother and the baby are preventable if the woman knows what danger signs to look out for all throughout her pregnancy,at the labor and delivery and after her baby is born.I am just but a nurse but may God guide me through this new journey🙏🏽.

Fellow Kenyans! Do not underestimate the power of numbers! The power we EACH have collectively. This has gone on for too long! Tuko talks, endless stories of these hospitals killing babies and mothers! Where is the end to this!!?? Who is the minister of health? What is Ruto doing while women and babies are dying under their watch!
Tuko, you have 1 million followers! Let's put it to use! Start a motion with the leaders- they need to keep them doctors and hospitals accountable!
We are behind you! It's time to not only showcase these stories but do someone extra about it - match to the streets, funding we are with you!

Yeah. And especially the fact that at first cervix yake ilikuwa imefunguka first visit alienda hospital. She should never have used bodaboda. .
But I am sure being a first time mum she never thought about all this. However, the doctors were very negligent. Why would they have her to give birth to a breech baby😢. She should have been sent for CS. They messed this woman up
Am really sorry for what she went through. No woman should ever go through this. And every pregnant woman is vulnerable and doctors ought to treat them right and help them because at that point one feels helpless. You could even loose your life

But honestly that nurse was so incompetent. It reminds me nikizaa second born at Wangige in 2020.
The female nurses were awesome. I had fear of delivering in a public hospital. But a friend convinced me to go there. It was during covid and confusion allover. I changed my hospital of birth last minute after the private i choose was involved in a scandal of a pregnant woman.
A male nurse was in charge usiku and he was very inhumab. He came kunipima and you understand when contractions come then upinwe same time it's extra painful. I requested him to wait contraction iishe anipime.

Niliscream yangu yote saying baby is coming and the doc ameniacha. I didn't care. I just wanted someone to help me. That's when he quickly ran to the labour room😢.

This is so painful. Today, many doctors and nurses just work for money. No empathy, no compassion. It's never a calling for care any more. May you get the justice you deserve, my dear. This lady needs a lot of mental support/counselling. Someone with the profession plse help.

we need to know that how we treat or handle people can leave so many scars and traumas. people come from very different background, therefore handle an embrace things /situations differently, it costs nothing to be human

hugs mama. I think its good to have a passion of the medical services first instead of going to hurt patients physically and psychologically and at the end of it all bringing curses instead of blessing on yourself. Claire dont worry. There is God of more than one chance. heal first and try again for conception.

I feel so bad for you and your family Claire. So sorry for your loss. I think you just needed to stay on bed rest, and you needed a ride to the hospital each way since you were having a compromised pregnancy. The drs and nurses seemed so heartless. I wish you the best and I hope you can have a baby in the near future. Take your time now and study to inform yourself what must be done so that you’ll know in the next pregnancy. May God bless you with many more children. Now though, you have a little angel in the sky praying for you. Y
If it’s any consolation, your baby whose in heaven now close to God will always love you and pray for you. I know it’s so hard but try your best to move on if the problems can’t be resolved with the hospital staff.

This is very unprofessional , Kwani what kind of doctors/nurses are these they lack common sense, you can’t make someone give birth to a breech baby!! They would have given you a c/section. This is negligence and you have made the poor woman go through something that would have been avoided. I am crying with you Claire, May the Lord comfort you dear. Lots of love

This is horrible 😢, have the stuff in the quote taken oaths of duty. A dilated pregnant mother sent her and there. The death of her baby was due to gross negligence. I hope the authority looks seriously into the matter to prevent the same from happening again. Those stuff tortured and bullied her. Im ashamed on behalf of my colleagues.....
I hope they're trained and committed to humanistic relief suffering !!😢😢😢.it's just unbelievable and heart wretching.
