- Need I tell you that Alexandra Trusova is known as the ‘Collector of Quads’? 😂
We witnessed quite a number of quadruple jumps landed at both the Russian and Japanese Nationals, so this video is a full recap of all recent quad jumps attempted and landed in 2020. Eteri Tutberidze and Sasha Trusova really ignited the quad revolution, soon or later quad jumps will be a key element in ladies figure skating.

sasha is the quad queen always and forever for me
It’s so interesting to me how tuktamysheva is the only ‘older’ female skater trying and landing quads (that I’ve seen!), all the younger girls are so talented but they are training to do it from a young age, whereas she is starting as a grown woman.......elizaveta truly is a monster skater!
tuktamysheva was also trying to learn 4T since 12 yo (though unsuccessfully at the time, so she stopped at 13, and returned to her attempts only at 23). but she learned 3A at 13.
so you can tell on tuktamysheva example as well, that it's crucial to learn the difficult jumps at young age.
even though there are so many who can land quads, Sash is and will be Quad Queen forever and also I'm lookinm forward to Liza's quads in a competition the next season.

Ladies competition is getting so tough and more competitive now. Trusova started doing Quad when she was in Junior competition and then other girls tried to learn quad jumps especially Russian girls.... All of the girls are amazing, they want to keep improving and getting stronger for their game in the competition.
Olympic Winter 2022 is going to be very strong competition for Quad jumpers and 3Axel. I just hope their artistry would get better in 2022. It's unbelievable to see this happening, This sport has changed a lot including Ladies's Event.
I agree with you, the ladies quads will be interesting but I really want to see more artistry and utilizing of the components score in competition too.
@@phoebe_5267 Me too, that's why Figure skating looks beautiful because without nice artistry in their program, It'd look exciting then boring later.
Even just think.... Only a little over a decade ago at the Vancouver Olympics, the Men's Gold Medalist skated without any quads. Now either having a quad or 3A is starting to become necessary to podium in ladies. I just hope we don't wind up with predominantly a bunch of flash in the pan skaters who disappear after one or two seasons as a senior, if that.

But this video is for quads since the initial coronavirus quarantine, and she hasn’t done it publicly this season. Her current injury means she is now limited to just the quad lutz. Like I said, I’m sure she’ll get them all back in future.

All the other Eteri girls often suffer from pre and under rotation and axis issues except the Queen. What she lacks in artistry she more than makes up for in her spellbinding technique and attitude.
The only quad lutz I am excited to see in competition is the one who belongs to Zhilina. She has great technique and hipefully she learns to develop the performance aspect as well.

Oh she has beautiful technique on her jumps and flexibility in her spins!!! Her artistry is also surprisingly strong for being 12!! Hopefully she stays healthy and we can watch her grow up and take over the sport as Trusova did!

Compared to 2019 practices Rika's Dec. 2020 quad has already got the snap. Reminds me of how we've seen Sasha's quads improve thru the years.
kihira is definitely my favorite, excited to see her in future competitions landing the 4S and maybe the 4T!

Veronika Zhilina is mindblowing. The only lady so far I've seen with good 4Lz technique. And she's 12!!!!
I like Zhilina’s choreo too, if I remember correctly, she skated for a tv program in Russia for several years, maybe that experience has helped her to skate cleanly/entertainingly.
And at the end of the day, Trusova got them all *

Because she has inside edge problem. This season she had ! mark on every attempted triple flip.

Получается всеми четверными владеет только Саша. Заслуженное звание " королевы квадов". Как и у Туктаышевой-" императрица"- в 24 года прыгать квады и триксель среди "детсадовцев"- ну понятно что Саша и Аня ещё более-менее-остальные ещё с детскими фигурками.
Саша будет королевой, когда чисто откатает ПП на соревнованиях. Пожалуйста, не надо надевать короны раньше времени!
2019 was the first jumping boom in ladies skating since 1991. This is shocking. Some say it was 2018 but it was 2019. In 2018 you could still make the podium in international competitions without a quad or 3 axel as demonstrated by Alina winning the gold at the Olympics and Katelyn at Worlds. But in 2019, it became harder to make the podium and almost impossible to win in international competition without a quad, or two or three 3 axels across both programs and now it's all about quad triple combinations and quads with Rippons. There won't be a quad less female on the podium in Beijing in 22.
in senior competitions, not in juniors. in juniors trusova was of fire since 2017. just a week after 2018 olympics sasha had won junior worlds, while landing 2 quads in the free skate. she was like 20 points ahead of second place (kostornaia) who had no difficult jumps at the moment. she also had bigger scores than a senior champion of that year (kaetlyn osmond), despite of crap PCS and that juniors having one element less in the free.
although previously it was all about trusova. in 2018 she was the only lady landing quads. in 2019 she was not alone anymore, but still she had landed two time more quads than all other ladies in the world combined. all really had changed in 2020, now there's ton of girls in russia consistenly landing quads both in juniors and seniors.

Zou tried 4Lo about two years ago (that's the time when her vids were posted) but since then probably not much was achieved. At the NHK 2020 she had to fight even with triples.

В подборке только 2020 год. Насколько помню, последний раз Лиза прыгала свой 4S на чм 2019.
Саша самая первая прыгнула на соревнованиях. Она смелая. Ну а Анюта не рискнула прыгать его на соревнованиях, хотя самая первая прыгнула(а не Саша) на тренировках. И когда Санька его на соревнованиях исполнила решила тоже попробовать. И получилось. Так то они обе крутышки.
Что за бред вы вообще несёте! У Ани в те времена нога в гипсе была! Если бы это травма, то королевой квадрат была бы другая
@@annann6741 Вы серьёзно? У Ани травма была только в сезоне 17-18. Кто ей мешал в 18-19 году вместо Саши первой прыгнуть лутц? Кто ей мешал на финале гран-при в прошлом сезоне прыгнуть флип первой вместо Саши? Аня прыгает только лутц и флип, Саша же прыгает 5 разных четверных (риттбергер пока только на тренировке). Так что при всем уважении к Ане, она не королева квадов. Но очень классная фигуристка и уверена, что поборется вместе с Сашей, Алёной, Камилой за золото ОИ)
@@milanakim7674 Аня первой и прыгнула лутц. только это было на кубке России. А из-за травмы левой ноги она больше не может прыгать четверной тулуп. А до травмы он у неё получался очень стабильно.

Анна в Хрустальном первая прыгнула 4 (есть видео Данилы), чуть дальше есть фото Сашы с соревнованиями где им вручили медали,и там кто-то Данилу спрашивал: а Трусова ещё не прыгает 4, и он ответил-нет! Хрюш думает, что боты (нанятые люди, которые пишут всякую, не соответствующей реальностям), помешают Этери, вот они клоун!🤣 И ники я уже их выучил, а если их кто-то спрашивают про учеников Этери, то там у всех так полыхать начинает, что эти «эксперты» находят все недочеты её учеников!
