Getting PROPER BUCKET SEATS for My Car // Recaro FIA Pole Positions

- With all of the modifications I’ve done to my MINI, it is safe to say it performs better than when it rolled off the production line. It accelerates better, it handles better, and stops better. With that being said, it is more aggressive and capable at its limits, which is why upgrading your seats is so crucial. Instead of moving around in the stock seats when you perform any kind of change of direction, these racing buckets will keep me planted and in total control of the car.
I tried to install Sparco seats in my car a couple years ago, and it turned out to be a problem because of how small the interior of my vehicle is. I either had to trim the seats down, or not run doors, which wasn’t really an option. Well, I have a solution!
I’m very thankful for a shop like JRP to have so many products in stock and are open to the public. Having the opportunity to sit in a bunch of seats and finding out which is best for me prior to buying them is such a treat. Their shop is located in southern Ontario. I have the leather version of these for my TT. Love them!
Nice build Milan, I would prefer the JCW Recaro's as they come with airbag and are OEM fit but are very expensive
I would recommend putting in some carpets at the back, will dampen the sounds especially from the fuel pump 👌🏻

No problem 👍 The cage is from Sneed4Speed, but if I were to do it again, I'd find a different cage or go custom.

part numbers are 600SB094L for driver and 600SB094R for passenger

LOL I considered swapping the roof for one that didn't have a runroof, but it's too much work. There have been some carbon fibre plugs made to swap for the glass. I'd love to get my hands on one!

I'm going to be using them for now until I get my hands on some harnesses 👍 Hit up Safety Restore for any colour belt.
Incorrect and unsafe way to route OE belt through shoulder seat hole. Not designed for that
I agree, however I used this setup just to get home, so I could then install my aftermarket harnesses properly.
