I love your space! I am having to start over with my room because my current space needs to be converted back into a bedroom for my grandson, whom we are now raising. He’s 2-1/2 now so we have a little time yet. There are things about my room now that I thought I would really like, but have found them to be unpractical. Your video gives me some wonderful ideas, honestly the best I’ve seen, for my new space. One thing I really loved was your storage cube area under the desk. I think the overlap is fine. In my room now all of my desk space is counter height which I love for paper and die cutting, scoring, and other preparation, but sitting on a bar stool to do the stamping, embellishing, etc. has not been very comfortable. That area actually gives me a crick in my neck and makes my shoulders ache. I was actually feeling very discouraged about moving to another space because my current room has all built ins including my desk so I have to start from scratch. Seeing your space has me excited now about the possibilities I have! I have watched so many videos and checked out tons of Pinterest ideas, but none seem as conducive to an easy flowing work space as yours. Thank you! 🥰

I love all the nice, sturdy wooden organizing containers, though the only one I have is a 12 x 12 paper holder that I bought at a yardsale. No idea on brand, but it won’t fit in my Kallax unit. A friend spent a fortune on plastic organizers, & they are SO flimsy! Love your craft room!

Loved your craft space!! I found the pink tool holder for scissors and small blending brushes at Walmart in the makeup section for about $5. Same item as your, only much cheaper. Good idea to store past paper pumpkin kits in a bin on shelf. Where can I find the ink spots holder?

Yes, the Stamp-n-Storage products for IKEA will fit the Threshold unit from Target. I have all of my "for IKEA" Stamp-n-Storage products in both the Kallax and the Threshold. :)

What great storage! You don't tell us what you used for all your built-in shelving ... where did you get the pieces that make up your desk (top, sides)? Is everything a 13" cube -- they look bigger. Also love your fabric bins - also 13" square? The shelving in the closet area also is so substantial looking, and I notice one area has a built in light at the top. Source? Your video is so helpful to my planning my craft/sewing room. Just could use the answers to these questions. Thank you.
Hi Judy, the built in shelving is the white IKEA 3x3 Kallax unit on top with a Threshold (from Target) 2x3 unit below. I used the two different brands to get the right height I needed in my space. All of the cubes are slightly larger then 13"x13". The Desk pieces are the Linnmon tabletops from IKEA and the bins were from Target or Amazon. The closet is a built-in unit done by California Closets. I hope this info helps as you are planning your space. - Michelle, Stamp-n-Storage

Hi Michelle! I am coveting your craft studio. I've watched the tour several times as there are numerous great ideas. I do have a question for you. Your Tim Holtz Media mat has glass over the entire thing. Is that something you did after your purchased it? When looking at the mats for sale, I only see where the black side is glass and the right side is the media palette. Thanks for taking the time!

Of course, I purchased the 6x7 Magnet Cards with the 6x7 Storage Pockets for my Creative Crate. I have the 9.5x7 Magnet Cards in a bin for my Slimline dies.

May I ask what is the name of the things you have your colored paper sorted into and what are those plastic envelopes you keep the scraps sorted in and where I can find both of them? I have been searching for some kind of paper storage for my studio and all I've found so far are cardboard sorter options.

Are the Target Threshold shelves the same dimensions as the Kalex? Which Stamp-n-storage fit in them? Sadly we don't have Ikea near us.
Target Threshold are slightly larger cubes but they do still work with Stamp-n-Storage for IKEA products.
What are the plastic sleeves you store your does and things in? You had them on your table where you stamp and in your closet?
Those are 6x7 Storage Pockets. We also have a 9.5x7 Storage Pocket for Slimline Dies and Stamps.
Michelle, what is the measurements of the wall with the fireplace?
I have a 10×10 and my husband wants to add a fireplace for my room. Thanks..
What do you suggest for Simon ink and Altenew ink pad storage?
For Simon Says Stamp ink or Simon Hurley we recommend a Slim Ink Pad Holder or Carousel. For the new (circle) Altenew Ink Pad we would recommend the Distress Ink Pad Holder. However, older Altenew Inks will fit in the Slim Ink Pad Holders (oval shape).
What are the size/ dimensions to your room? We are having a house built and I’m afraid I don’t have enough room for all of my stuff, but looking at your system I’m thinking maybe I do!!!

Hi, super nice and inviting space. I can't help but wonder how to achieve that level, I am an avid crafter as well but how to afford all the high quality products? So much of it is needed for good results , could you share with me how to, should I approach company for sponsoring?? I am very committed to crafting and have been for a long time but can not justify the cost of the products and organization furniture, what am I missing. Your comments would be appreciated.
Hi France, Organization is most definitely an investment. That is why it is so important to choose quality solutions that fit the crafter. My suggestion is to slowly build your storage solutions one piece at a time. You can even wait for special sale events to make your purchase. Another thing to consider is we invest so much money into our supplies that we often have to continuously refill. When you invest in quality storage, it lasts a lifetime. Stamp-n-Storage solutions are designed to keep supplies visible and easy to access. Michelle what are you using as the actual unit? Is it a Kallax, if so what are the dimensions? I can't for the life of me see how you got the 3x3 out of it if it is a kallax.
Hello, I used both the Kallax unit and the Target Threshold.
How do you store 6x8 stamp sets in those pockets? I can't see how that works.
For larger sets I use the 9.5x7 Storage Pockets and Stamp Cards or Magnet Cards
@@StampnStorage Do you have dividers that are large enough to work with for the larger sizes to separate the stamps sets? I see you have ones that are about 7", but anything bigger? Thanks!
