Thanks for the amazing comments, advice, and tips in the last video. I thought I would answer some of your questions with a video and here it is. I'll probably do this regularly because you all have some great questions and suggestions. I wasn't even thinking about the notification bell but it's a nice feature to have, so thanks to the user that asked that question.
If you need the link for the custom VAE file, you can grab it here - huggingface.co/stabilityai/sd-vae-ft-mse-original/tree/main to be honest it didn't make any difference with the RevAnimated model, but it does seem to affect other models. Also, there is more than one custom VAE so I would check out hugging face for more resources.

Good stuff. I've only messed around with clip skip 2, my god, 12 is something else lol. I didn't notice much difference between the VAE you showed. I know some models have a specific VAE they recommend using with it where I've seen some differences before, usually in color and contrast. Then other models have VAE baked in somehow.
Hah ya clip skip 12 is if you want something crazy. Yes there are specific models that that utilize all the variations of clip skip and some custom vaes like the new sdxl one. On civitai it has recommendations on clip skip for some models. They are a bit controversial since the models might or might not come from paid models from names I won’t mention. Not to mention the sdxl vae is for a leaked model. Olivio sarikas has a video on it but I’m not going to touch that one. Love that guys channel though.
Very informative video as always! For much better image viewing, I suggest getting the browser plugin called Imagus. With that, if you hover over the mouse of a picture, and press Z, you can zoom in and out with scroll wheel. It's one of my most used plugins of all times.
Awesome! Thanks for the tip. I need that in my life. Canvas zoom is limited to inpainting. I didn't see it in the standard default plug ins. Did you have to install it using a URL?

Thanks for the tips, dunno why I dont have the option to select the Mask color at the inpainting page. I also have canvas zoom and it works more or less the same as yours except for that
So when I first got the tool I clicked on the palette and just saw the black option but if you click on the black it will allow you to choose more colors. It's a bit strange they do it that way. Hopefully that was it.
What program you used for the girl voice A.I. the first notification?
It was elvenlabs which is kind of scary tech. It's Text to speech and you just need 30 seconds of someone's voice maybe even less. I like how you present things, lots of info without reading from a script or giving a lists of things to know, but best workflows and things to do, look out for, what works, what doesn't, with reference links and info written below. I like the fact that you're giving subjective info and opinions. Many people shy away from that but I often get more info from the unscripted parts of a tutorial. You also give a little breathing room. It drives me crazy when all the silences are cut out to keep people from getting bored. For me, natural pauses in speech give your viewers time to process what was just said.
Sorry for the late reply but I loved this comment so much I came back to reply. I saw it real quickly when I was driving. BIG thanks and glad you liked the vid. I'll try to put more frequent content. SDXL is coming out which is basically the new version of stable diffusion so keep an eye out for that.

Speaking of clip skip. Does anyone know how to remove it form SD? I have it and it stopped SD from showing the results of prompts in the preview window. No idea how to properly uninstall it besides a fresh install. OR if you know what my preview window error is, that'd be great to know as well. Thanks!

that made me LOL. Ya, no one really pays attention to the paid version because it's 40 bucks and you have more tools with the free version. If your 100% serious then the paid version is by Stablity AI stability.ai/ they call it DreamStudio, not to be confused with the extension with the same name. The Emad Mostaque, the owner of Stability AI allows the models to be open source. The new on SDXL is coming out soon and just went live on the paid version.
