I just asked my dad when he and mom saw DDLJ. He said that they saw it on valentines Day 1996 when it finally came out in his small town in Kerala. He remembers it well because that was the first hindi film to release in their town.

As for Srkjuhi, idk about authenticity, i didn't see much of their films but maybe because they did light hearted comedies, thats why you find them natural. I still and will always say this. SRK - Juhi pairing is the best. SRK comic timing is just perfect with Juhi. Yess Boss, Phir bhi dil hain Hindustani, Duplicate have some great moments with them. SRK Kajol might be having the most popular films but SRK Juhi is, if not equally, has better fun moments.
I wish the movie was even half as good as this promotion video it would have been so much fun.
