ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Haha, 8 years ago people were complaining the MS Unleashed Hulk had too many veins. Now it's now enough veins. MS just can't satisfy everybody.
IMO the best hulk figure ever- only wish we got a normal closed mouth head sculpt with him as well, then it would be perfect.

@@FaceoftheAgony. I don't think we're gonna see another classic Hulk so soon. Hasbro has already recently made its own. Maybe from Mafex? I don't know... maybe they will give priority to other characters for comics versions of their figures. I think this Marvel Select Immortal Hulk will remain the best one for a long time.

@@giftig9329 I don't know man... yeah it could be. But I still remember Mezco made a Gladiator Hulk from Thor Ragnarok and the Marvel Select one was still better, having a so much lower price too. Mezco's products are aesthetically pleasing dolls with high quality materials but the most of the times they're not worth it because of the overprice and the articulations. But yeah, I would be definitely curious to see their version of classic Hulk one day!

Hulk gets bigger the more angry he gets so this works for me! Love this one and still love the Marvel Legends 80th Hulk. Can’t choose which I like better so I’ll just love em both.
This Hulk fig has won my fav Hulk figure among my other Hulk figs I own. Diamond select has finally created a figure that rivals Marvel Legends and the DC Mcfarlane line. The sculpting on ripped pants is sick Hope Diamond select continues with this type articulation, sculpt and detail.
This design reminds me of that short lived 80s animated series, also the artwork of John Buscema. I think the head looks a little big but other than that I really dig it, and I am waiting on my BBTS preorder

I think the head's a little too big . The duck feet look a little odd. Look like flippers...but overall a great looking figure.

Just grabbed it today, super amazing figure and really enjoy the scale and all the shading. No longer need a hulk to go with my Mezcos

@@worldwarrior1022 I enjoy my hulks very large compared to those around him. When I was a kid the Hulk was actually a hulking beast, I don’t know what art directions the comics have gone with as of late or what the Mcu did with him, but my hulk was always big. The hulks hands can perfectly grab a torso of most mezcos, to me this is good scale. To each his own though, that’s the beauty of having so many hulks available, there are larger ones and smaller ones out there to suit your display needs.

This was surprisingly honest. Great review! So many reviews of this guy got that recency bias of making this thing way better then the legends version, plus he is way too big for Legends but great for Selects!

Very close to the Classic Bronze Age comic book Hulk ! Very reminiscent of the art styles from John/Sal Buscema and Romita. Less veins and more bulky could have done it perfectly. And they definitely should add an alternate head with clenched/grin teeth, such a mistake !

The sculpt looks pretty good
Own this one as well as the ML 80th Hulk... and a few other Hulks. ;-) I absolutely love this figure (I saw a tip somewhere on someone else's channel that if you tilt the head down slightly so the eyes are facing forward it's a MUCH better look for him, and I agree. As far as the comparison, if the ML 80th had the matte finish AND the subtle skin texturing of the plastic of this DST, I'd say the ML 80th would be the slightly better of the two. That said, I don't see a clear winner. The paint, texture, and the musculature of the DST make it great, and the articulation is definitely adequate. I like the sheet bulkiness of the ML 80th, as well as the overall better articulation (those butterfly joints REALLY make for some great poses)... and the head on the ML 80th is just THE iconic savage Hulk.

Shartimus I got an idea for ya, why not use that figure for a possible spiderhulk by Poundz? the figure feels smooth in the sculpt area so I don't think it'll be as hard to paint over it I think

I just want a 2 pack Hulk based on Edward Norton Hulk (cgi wasn't the best but it's my favourite design) with good articulation and accessories (so he can thunder clap) and Shang chi's abomination that would be bad ass.

In your opinion, how would you improve the hulk of the mcu?
This is a great figure, but I’m getting kind of tired of hearing other reviewers say he can fit in with Marvel Legends; he doesn’t! I understand that Hulk’s size varies based on the artist, but he’s never drawn THIS big! Go compare this Marvel Select Hulk to the Marvel Legends Rulk, Rhino, Thing, Abomination, and Juggernaut and then then try to tell me he fits in with Marvel Legends. Hulk CAN be drawn to dwarf smaller characters, but he NEVER dwarfs other big characters the way this figure dwarfs the other figures I mentioned.
So thanks Shartimus for not making this claim, you’ve once again proved why you’re the best in the game.

But he does though. Obviously he is taller than those figures you mentioned because they are still marvel legends. If diamond made a new juggernaut or rhino they would probably be a similar size to this hulk

Honestly and probably ironically, with marvel select, they peaked with abomination. I think the abomination is their best. In terms of articulation the hulk is better, but the paint and details have fallen. I think that's the trend with new figures today. But the size, I like the idea of characters like the hulk, venom, abomination being huge. I'd use it in my marvel legends display, I think marvel legends big characters are too short, especially next to thor. Sometimes I use marvel legends in my 3 3/4 displays.
