Question for you how many of the lakes are disabled friendly ? Being a disabled angler this is a big problem for me to get out and do what I love
Good point! We do need a few swims that are a little larger and can accommodate a vehicle at the rear. Since breaking my back I’ve found it very difficult to get back into fishing. More lakes should take this into consideration.
I would love to fish those lakes but there is a bait boat ban and since due to a few problems I can no longer cast very far or spod (hyper mobility or what we used to call double jointed and a multiple times dislocated shoulder) so fish either fish small lakes or lakes allowing the a bait boat. I can play fish fine and land big fish but after a couple of long casts nope out of action.

Second bummer means I had to give up fly fishing and lure fishing as well that casting issue

Wether you like Dan and Korda can’t deny Embryo is providing some of the best day tickets in the country in my opinion. Why, because they are designed and run by anglers who want to make the fisheries the best they can for others to enjoy. Totally get the rules on bait and one rod on zig rule and the end of the day we all want to catch big carp and like Dan said your not going to get that with people fishing zigs maggots and worms etc not only that gallons of maggots is not good for water quality. Have massive respect for what he is trying to achieve with embryo especially with helping other fisheries fence there lake at cost you can’t argue with that don’t think people realise how much it actually costs very pricey. Saying all this still yet to go to Norton Disney as I am from Lincolnshire 😅 I just prefer the quieter syndicates but each to there own.

I always struggled with carp fishing winter. I just enjoy the spring summer
People will hate on Korda but regardless at some point they will have used Korda to better their angling
ND wasn't that nice the last time I went. Rats everywhere, fallen trees that just needed a new stake to hold them up, the toilets near Turners were broken and dirty. Pot holes everywhere. I emailed Embryo and raised my concerns, but got nowhere and was just fobbed off with excuses. Never been back.

Never got my head round commercial fisheries, to many waters back to back. Not for me I love my quiet syndicate waters with a back up water. I still fish the canals and rivers, I love all sorts of fishing. Danny says himself people pass other waters to fish his waters and we'll make the fish to a size and how easy to catch, that doesn't inspire me at all.

I knew Danny, moreso his dad who would drive around in a little purple astra selling leads. Hes worked fornwhat he has and i do think hes giving back alot whej he could just sell up and chill. Honestly, I think any other opinion is born of ignorance or jealousy.
