Fully laughing at that bit
I WAS C A C K L I N G âšđ€đŒđ€Ł
Actually laughing out loud. Hysterical.
I just watched it while on a long distance bus and had to try so hard not to laugh too loudly at that part.
I almost stopped breathing đđ€Ł
Keith has an extremely valid point about the fact that half the time in these "without x" videos they're not even given the tools they need to be able to do the thing LOL.
yeah that's one of my least favorite trends with these without instructions/a recipe videos is that like... they're almost set up to fail in a way? so all their work might fail at a moment's notice :(
@@finne0n exactly. Itâd be more entertaining if they had the proper materialsâŠ
this is one of my least favourite things about youtubers trying stuff they always give them crappy equipment and tools
But also they arenât given the proper time. The equipment they have makes sense for the fact that they have a fraction of the time it would take to make the thing. I think itâs an issue that the judges act like they should have other materials then they do, but I think that not giving specific equipment tends not to be an issue in most of the cases.
Also, take the pants episode, they did have the equipment to sew but many decided to hot glue anyways due to time.
Usually they get the real thing, just don't use it. This time they can't because of safety issues
A Ned-inspired puppet that talks out of his ass is just too perfect now. I love it and I hate it.
Zach knew Ned talked out of his ass all along!
Who is ned lol
@@OriginalL. Good pointâŠ
@@OriginalL. I hate cancel culture like you can still acknowledge his existence
@@thespcrewroy8716 Exactly. Bad behavior should absolutely be held accountable. But you should never trust someone who puts a stick between "good people" and "bad people", and claims to be on the good side. We've all done shitty, shitty things and hurt people for no reason. Even if we prefer not to remember it. And yet, all people are people. There's a reason we have limits on punishments. Mob rule is not moral.
@@Queer_Nerd_For_Human_Justice spot on!
At this point, "I'm a Human Bird Jay" either needs his own comic book series or an animated TV series. The lore this guy would create
Keith's own personal gay horse
@@princessfaith925 i guess we need an animated collab
His story reminds me of the show "teacher's pet". It was about a talking dog that REALLY just wanted to go to school with his owner, so he dressed up like a student and walked on two feet and just pretended to be a human. I don't remember a lot of details about it, but I know there was a movie and I know it was at least on Disney channel
@@vanessawalker6666 I vaguely remember that show. It had Nathan Lane voicing the titular character
Definitely a comic book, there's so much that can be done there
30:51 you can see how intently Keith is listening to Victor's points for improvement, Keith must be so starstruck with this opportunity and it makes me so happy to see him shine đ„ș
Keith does love physical, interactive, creations.
Keith is definitely making more puppets now
Yes! As much as I do love seeing Rage! Keith, it really is amazing to see him in his element too!
I actually laughed bc I wasn't expecting Keith to look so intense đ
The way the guy put on every one of their puppets and gave them his own voice and played around with them and looked like he was genuinely having a blast was so wholesome âșïž
"Butts are back, baby"
"When did they leave?"
Rachel doesn't get enough credit for her comedy
Sheâs the best. When she said âno, no, noâ to Eugene with the puppet fistâŠ..it took me out đđ
unironically, I think Rachel is like top 10 of any of the people that appeared on the show, and probably above almost all of the main try guys except for like⊠eugine and maybe keith in my opinion
I cant believe Rachel let Eugene make a puppet we arent allowed to see
I wish that they would post a picture of Eugene's puppet somewhere and put a link in the description

He did also make ice cream a judge wasnât legally allowed to eat
@@RedPaladin42 why couldn't they eat it? Nevermind, alcohol presence with an underage judge
I became a Parteon member just so I could see it, so I'd say they know exactly what they're doing. đ
This is 100% Keith's challenge just because of his genuine interest in puppetry. You can see how in tune he is to the judges comments
They're doing a series where everyone has their "own" episode. Next week is Eugene's forte.
@@maaretrahkonen7706 letâs be honest.everything is Eugeneâs forte

@@polio3104 I'm pretty sure Zach and Maggie are engaged. Like there was a video awhile ago of the try guys picking out bridesmaids dresses
I really wish they would have a separate series where they had a pro come in and make one of the guys ideas but like good. It be cool to see big booty Joe but done with someone that knows what they are doing
Yes
In a lot of these (and without a recipe, too) one of the judges who does that thing professionally will say "wow, i've never heard of anything like that" and it would be really cool for these super creative and cool concepts to be executed really well
Omg this, yes
I was thinking the same thing when I was watching the nail art video.
Great idea! Boost!

The idea of them making puppets is both fascinating yet terrifying
Well, as someone who does amigurumi, I think it's kinda cool.
I couldnât agree more!!!
I feel that, thereâs just something weird about puppets
Yes
I'm preparing myself mentally
Keithâs puppet looks like it could be apart of âdonât hug me Iâm scaredâ
especially with it's eyes falling out in the end
THIS. Literally the moment the scene with Keith discussing the eyes played, I thought of red guy

Victor: Puppet is a small part of the entertainment industry and its made up of very lonely people

He's such a sweetheart :')
What do you think he makes all those puppets for?
Hugs.
@@AngryBerb Hugs just sounds creepy af! đŹđ€Šââïžđ
@@louiseb6111 Iâm sorry you have trauma around hugs. Theyâre necessary for social development and a healthy levels of brain chemicals. To the point where people who hug less die younger. to be fair, in the pictures they showed him playing hup which is one of the most huggable characters the jim henson company has ever created so he deserves those hugs!!
Jayâs whole character is honestly a stroke of genius by Keith.
It's like Chicken Boo from Animaniacs. It's great
Yes, he could totally go places with that character
Keith proudly stating âI went to my third backupâ honestly made me feel better about my academic progress. I felt so seen đ
I actually went to my third back up (Furman, USC and CSU were 1st choice, 1st and 2nd backup)- I ended up going to the College of Charleston and it was the best possible spot for me. Third backup crew! đ€Łđ
Mr. Lube has the important job of being the only uncensored part of Eugene's puppet we can see.

Omg they could do one season for each try guy lol
@@erikaalbert929 THAT WOULD BE SO GOOD
letâs be honest: keith inspires us all
@@erikaalbert929 Comment that as a suggestion! I'd watch it!
I love how the last two puppets (no spoilers) were holding hands
I love that Keith's comment about going to his 3rd backup was meant like jokingly, but actually it's very reassuring! Look at how successful and well-liked he is in his fields, and he didn't Need to go to a big fancy school to reach that :)
It makes me feel very seen. I was accepted into most of the schools I applied to, but I was only able to afford one of my backups (which is a state school). STATE SCHOOLS ARE VAILD!!
@@averyjeanne same here. accepted to great places but I'm in a state school (which happens to have an amazing rep)
I think it was a joke more because Ned went to Yale, and Keith was being like 'not me, I went to my third back up'. Not a joke to make it seem 'less than' if you didn't (get to) go to your first or even second choice school.
especially since ned went to yale and they both ended up doing the same thing!
We at Oxford would just like to say that Keith was one of our brightest young students and we love to see how his talents have flourished over the years.
This is my fav comment
Oxford literally showed up to claim Keith đ€Łđđđ
Then I guess Yale just disowned Ned
@@magnusbane420 Colleagues of ours at Yale have confirmed this
Ned went to Yale and Keith went to his 3rd choice state school and guess what? They're working the same place and are equals. So if you're checking out colleges or trade schools, find something you like, pick a decent school in a city you love, figure out how to market yourself and let those lead you forward.
And now Ned is unemployed đ

Right that was awesome
They need to make the Professor a new friend after Ryanâs dramatic betrayal.
One of Watcherâs Patreons actually sent them one they made! Heâs orange and named Sam Dunk, heâs great!
I kinda hope the new seasons professor is the Genie and heâs just gonna favour Ryan the whole season đ

Is it really a betrayal if it was 100% expected and inevitable?
Indeed
I love how the try guys were all told to wear black and everyone just wore a t shirt and pants, and Eugene turns up in an amazing black outfit
Dose anyone know where that is from?
The hamburger puppet creepily stroking Victor's arm was a great moment. Really all of this was delightful, A++ comedy all around
This is a deep cut, but Eugene wanting the whole puppet to be blurred is giving me 30 Rock Tracy Jordan avoiding reality tv cameras by covering himself in copyrighted material (S5E12)
It genuinely looked like Eugene's puppet was built in minecraft.
or the way that the old ladies on the Great British Bake Off will start swearing, singing copyrighted music, and giving free product placement next to contestants if they're crying so that they can't broadcast that person's private emotional moment

22:47 love that eugene says: "welcome to the try guys" and the subtitles say: "welcome to the drag ass".
"I'm not gonna spend too much time on schematics, because it's not like anything I plan actually comes to fruition" this made me LAUGH

Ned's and Keith's puppets holding hands during judging was the cutest thing!
Keith should totally take a pro led puppet making/ puppeteering class and start incorporating his creations into the Lewberger performances, starting with an improved Jay The Totally Normal Business Human.

I like the idea that Eugene gave up and went balls to the wall insane to let Keith have his moment
I never seen Keith more intrigued in his life once they started judging his puppet lol.
Ned's puppet is 100% something that Linda Belcher would make
Edit: Also just realized that the talking butt puppet would be right up Tina's alley as well
It gave me Linda vibes the whole time!
It just needs a bikini, cuz its summer.
Itâs giving little king trash mouth
I love how Keith takes all of the feedback so seriously, as if he intends to head straight home to make the corrections. đđđ
we dont have any proof that he doesnt :p
I love how Keith is genuinely taking the constructive criticism of his puppet (30:52) and is focused on improving. He said that he is the most experience with puppets and his concentration on the judges words proves that puppetry is something heâd like to make a bigger thing or just a more refined form of expression for him.
But also when Jay loses his eyes đ. I was rolling. This episode was really funny and entertaining. Keep up the great work try guys!
Eugene in every "without a recipe/instructions" its like that guy at work who's under contact but is actively trying to get fired
"I want him to look like heâs on Sesame Street but, you know, working the corner"
EUGENE I-
I'm a big fan of the way they have the expert doing it right, and saying 'doing it this way is wrong' and then cut straight to the guys doing it the wrong way đ€Łđ€Ł
Keithâs obsession with being a bird pretending to be a man is becoming suspicious.
Ned stealing Zachâs previous themes is unsurprising now. Zachâs puppet talking out its ass, the metaphor is clear now
idk what's wrong with Keith. I think he just really likes the character of Jay the totally normal business human, and good on him bc it's a great character.
@MoonLight-np4wx The joke is that that they are implying that Keith might actually be a giant bird disguised as a human.
I really loved this expert. She seems really nice and like she was actually explaining what to do and not being passive aggressive lol
One of my fave parts is when Keith was listening so intently to Victorâs feedback like he was absorbing it to go home and make his puppet better. I also would have lost it if he didnât win. đ
Keith was literally so stressed during the judging, you could see it in his face how BADLY he wanted to win
When Zach said "It's obviously a big juicy ass, Rachel." In the most serious voice, that was so strangely funny and unexpected it made my eyes water
I love how the whole time they said "in last place..." The camera was just on Zach
Full stop Mam you created the puppets for Puppet History?!?!?! Your work is incredible and so much fun!!! So much character and texture and just so fantastic

Just my add on, his video on Thomas Sanders's puppets is amazing!
If you're going to use foam though, I'd caution against sewing it together, just because the thread will rip the foam apart.
