  • A video of how to find top dead center on my road king to allow the adjustment of the push rods. Also counting the threads per inch to research the proper adjustment for the rods as i have no idea of the brand installed. Hope this video can help some one out. Dont forget to Like/subscribe/share if you would. Thanks

yup - keep cutting them pushrods guys. Sure, why not add 4 more potential points of failure to the TwinCam. I mean, what could go wrong? All in the name of saving 2 hours worth of work removing a gas tank and rocker covers (that's removal and assembly). Of course, then there's the myth of better valve train response and it's 'quieter'. Really? BTW, you don't need to find TDC to set the rods- you simply wait for bleed down, do a twist test, adjust, wait a bit more for bleed, final twist, then lock em... or better yet- go back to non-adjustables and you'll never have to even think about it again. Hope you got it sorted out. Ride safe.

Neighbor is a Harley mechanic for over 22 years, he's never seen an adjustable push rod fail nor a stock cam plate fail either.. so you complain about saving 2 hrs by cutting stock rods then advise to skip finding TDC and not waiting for lifters to bleed down for accurate adjustment to save time? lol You must ride a pink 883.

@@bigblue3568 i never said NOT to wait for bleed down- I did say you don't need TDC to do that. Does your 'Harley mechanic neighbor' change your oil or do you ask your boyfriend to do it for you? Ride safe Karen.
