The ancient city of Naula is just a few minutes' walk from one of the main streets of Mahmutlar. The history of this port city has its roots far back in Roman and Byzantine cultures. There are the remains of a theater, Christian churches, watchtowers, baths and an alley with columns. Walking between the ruins, windows and entrances to former buildings going underground are clearly visible. Entrance to the territory is free.
