I'm just tired of these rehashed Mclaren designs, its probably the same architecture they had in the 570 series so it's hard for me to get excited but luckily for them I can't afford one so this will change nothing...

@@75KoDe Not to start a whole discussion but I did look into it and basically the money's been mostly spent on the drive train, rear suspension and a few nips and tucks here and there. The carbon tub or general body "architecture" isn't "new" as they've put it.

Am I alone in this, or did you guys notice the color of Rory's shoe laces? The perfectly match the color of the Artura. A nice touch in deed.
Rory's the man! Along with Top Gear's Chris Harris, there is really no need to follow any other car reviewers. While Chris trends towards the exotica, Rory takes care of the bigger picture as well as the granularities of the car industry. He is certainly the go-to for things ranging from mundane facts on Carbon credit swaps to the future demise of IC engines, to the next generation of hybrid McLarens that get 50 MPG. Easily understood. Fun to watch. Nice.

I have no problem with hybrids if the engine is still naturally aspirated. The next aventador is rumoured to be a hybrid.. but it still retains the v12. That’s the next step in evolution.. what else could they have done to improve? Add another 200hp and make it a 900hp naturally aspirated v12 or something? Sounds like a sick idea but it’s not practical or efficient.
