A great, neo classical home! I live a few blocks away and the surrounding neighborhood blocks are lovely. It really feels intimate compared to feel of the nearby highrises and bustling of people and traffic where I am. What a great location and community! An absolute gem of a property! 💜

This property is stunning. I grew up in your very average Chicago three bedroom, one bathroom apartments. I wonder if I could feel comfortable in such a large place. I read about a family, I think in England. They inherited a mansion and had to make a conscience effort to spread out. They tended to gravitate to one large sitting room.

I live in the area. If this house is less than $3M it would be a total steal for the location and the luxury materials used. For comparison, luxury condos in the area sell for an average of $1.5M (1bed 1bath). Renting a nice 2bedroom 700sq/ft apartment is _starts_ at $2.5K/month. A 3 or 4B& 2Bth apartment can go beyond $10K/month. Price really depends on the amenities in the building. My building has enclosed parking, pool, gym, resident patio, laundry and dry cleaning with a 24/7 doorman and building maintenance. Some buildings have residents-only Cafe and game rooms, sauna/spas too. But these are just apartments and condo prices.
Mansion homes nearby go for tens of millions if they are a historical building on prime real estate. These properties are super close to the lake, beaches and yacht clubs, and luxury hotel and restaurants and shopping a few blocks away. It all drives up the price.
