@@Hospitalista In the future can you do a short one on joint effusions in the hospitalized patient. When do you have to do arthrocentesis? When do you need to rule out septic arthritis? When can you treat empirically for gout and when do you say it’s osteoarthritis? It all looks the same to me! What if they have fever but they also getting admitted for pneumonia or flu?
I am so sorry that I can’t give any personal clinical advice on this platform! I recommend you contact your doctor for such questions before using any new kind of medications but in general polysporin doesn’t contain sulfa!
