- Fort Gaines, Georgia once known as the "Queen City of the Chattahoochee" because of it's excellent location along the banks of the great river! This is one of the most amazing small towns we have visited. We seriously lost track of time while walking among it's wonderfully preserved history!
From the Coca-Cola mural to the Walker Theatre, even though it is only a facade, to these amazing historic homes, Fort Gaines, Georgia is awesome!
AWESOME! We're going to vote this one of our favorites Georgia Small Towns!

This is one of your best videos yet! The old Coca~Cola sign say's "Relieves Fatigue", that's because when Coke was 5 Cents a bottle, there was Cocaine in it!!! FESS Ya'll😁
Coke still admits putting >2% of cocaine in ALL of their beverages today 😮
Dr. Pemberton did invent Coca-Cola as a pain reliever because he was wounded in the Civil War. He did invent the original formula in Columbus, Georgia! Thanks for watching!
The last time that sign was touched up was around 1985. When I lived there back then. The back part of the building used to be a bar, and the front part had a few arcade games there. Thank you for this video, because I left in 89.

Wow such a wonderful place imagine how it was back in the day. Shame they couldn't keep the theatre open . Those wooden steps tim wouldn't climb I have to climb similar every day I go to work all creaking lol 😆
