ترجمہ: کنزالایمان
مرد افسر ہیں عورتوں پر اس لیے کہ اللہ نے ان میں ایک کو دوسرے پر فضیلت دی اور اس لیے کہ مردوں نے ان پر اپنے مال خرچ کیے تو نیک بخت عورتیں ادب والیاں ہیں خاوند کے پیچھے حفاظت رکھتی ہیں جس طرح اللہ نے حفاظت کا حکم دیا اور جن عورتوں کی نافرمانی کا تمہیں اندیشہ ہو تو انہیں سمجھاؤ اور ان سے الگ سوؤ اور اُنہیں مارو پھر اگر وہ تمہارے حکم میں آجائیں تو اُن پر زیادتی کی کوئی راہ نہ چاہو بے شک اللہ بلند بڑا ہے

{اَلرِّجَالُ قَوّٰمُوْنَ عَلَى النِّسَآءِ:مرد عورتوں پرنگہبان ہیں۔}عورت کی ضروریات، اس کی حفاظت، اسے ادب سکھانے اور دیگر کئی امور میں مرد کو عورت پر تَسَلُّط حاصل ہے گویا کہ عورت رعایا اور مرد بادشاہ، ا س لئے عورت پر مرد کی اطاعت لازم ہے ،اس سے ایک بات یہ واضح ہوئی کہ میاں بیوی کے حقوق ایک جیسے نہیں بلکہ مرد کے حقوق عورت سے زیادہ ہیں اور ایسا ہونا عورت کے ساتھ نا انصافی یا ظلم نہیں بلکہ عین انصاف اور حکمت کے تقاضے کے مطابق ہے

Alizey questioned her father in law that everyone wants to make sure their sons and daughters are secure if something were to happen to them, but no one thinks about the bahu, who gives up so much when marrying into a family. And the point of bringing this up in the drama is to bring awareness that this is a topic that needs to be discussed more. So to your point, yes people don’t generally do that- but that doesn’t mean that our thinking can’t be changed.

I have no words for this drama .i m still in awe. This drama makes you think,makes you ponder. This drama is for-all daughter-in-laws everywhere. Who speaks for our right ??? Are we (the bahus) not taken for granted. ?? We talk about our daughter s security but what about the Security of the daughter in laws. The team of this amazing serial has raised the topic so well. The mental torture,the humiliation,the manipulation,....so well shown. U don’t have to physically fight to show ur hurt. Words r very powerful !! Indeed !!
Alize’s character is so well written....a ted speaker had become a meow.😢after marriage. U need Alize’s family like support to go back n move on with life. Kudos to her father. Life does not end after one failed marriage. It’s a precious gift of God . Move on girls n make a new life 😊.life is beautiful n it’s one life. Enjoyyy. Thanks to the team for giving us this drama . I think the ending was good. The wife doesn't always have to forgive the toxic husband. Such people don't change. Alizey was capable enough to take care of herself and her child. That's why girls need to be educated and financially independent. They don't always need a man to survive.

What about Natasha being a toxic wife? Instead you could have used a toxic spouse. Women don't have to play the victim game all the time. Natasha was also well educated and much more established than Alijay. A husband never does this kind of toxicity in real life. In fact this can be the other way around.

I liked the fact that Natasha's husband divorced her and found a simple and loving woman.
Natasha always treated him horribly anyway.
What a beautiful end to a story often left untold. Narcissists, be it male or female, sweep you off your feet and give you the highest highs, but just when you’re enjoying the highs, they pull the rug from underneath you and suddenly you find yourself at your lowest. This vicious cycle is what traps people in staying in toxic relationships. Sadly this is very prevalent in desi culture.
This drama does a fantastic job depicting what narcissistic behavior looks like and illustrates how even an educated and strong individual can fall prey to such types of people. Im sure this drama was triggering for those who have dealt with narcissistic behavior.
Everyone’s acting has been exceptional,
especially Mikaals’. Hats off to the writer and entire team for bringing such an important topic to the limelight.

I can assure you that narcissists exist in all cultures - too many of them sadly. I am German and my half-sister's father (also German) was a full blown narcissist. And then I ended up marrying a Pakistani narcissist. But alhamdulillah I am happy with my Kashmiri (Indian) husband now who was previously married to a Bengali narcissist😂 My best friend's narcissistic ex is Nigerian. These types of people are all over the place.
A brilliant masterpiece by ARY after a very long time! Loved the narrative and the way Alizey's Father Character was jotted down just took my heart! Thank God that ARY finally showed something much needed, other than Danish's toxic patriarchal scripts. Totally agree with the last dialogue, "APNAY SAATH ZIYAATI KRKE, HUM ZAMANAY KI PARWAH KRKE SIRF MUASHREY KI BUNIYAAD KO KHOKLA KRTAY HEN". I am absolutely in love with the writer who just penned down everything so amazingly, with a flow and contemplation. AND I MUST SAY THE LEADS WERE AMAZING IN Portraying their characters.
I wish there was more about how Sherry suffered and how their child grew up. The focus on women's rights in this drama is praisable.👏

Narcissistic is a personality disorder which nowadays has become very normal, I'm happy with this drama ending at least now I'm totally satisfied for my decision of leaving narcissistic and you are right there would be more about sherry childhood trauma so people can become more aware the exact root cause... Yes, many don’t realize mental and emotional abuse is just as bad. Takes a long time to heal from the belittling and emotional abusive treatment from someone you thought had your best interest.
True..Alizey in this drama, was fortunate enough that her life's years were not wasted bearing the mental torture...only 1 year..So she bounced back very quickly
But there so many ladies out there..who are stuck with such mental torturers...and they have still wasted their life time dealing with mental torture...they should also take a step for themselves.

My father is a narcissist. I have seen my mother going through a mess in my entire life. Occasionally she used to beat my mother, abused her, and when I grew up, one day I stood against him and told him not to abuse my mother anymore. Guess what since now he knows that he cannot use force anymore so now he uses manipulative techniques. Fitrat kam hi badalti hay.

I will miss this drama. The cast was too strong and the story was realistic. Everyone acted sooooo well. I cant even name each as everyone was so up to mark. But special shout out to Mikaal Zulfiqar for his outstanding performance. He acted brilliantly. I really enjoyed all his scenes. Also, much love to Dur e Fishan. Very realistic story. Many females in our society are suffering from this abuse where male partner thinks he is right and he has the ultimate power to abuse women. Every woman who is going through this traumatic time May Allah give them courage to think about themselves. ❤

Unrealistic ending. The heroine going overboard with making the house a hostel. Whereas Javed sheikh left the house to his grandchild. Too many loop holes. She said she ll let the father meet the baby but that doesn’t culminate.

Natasha s husband is made to look like an angel whereas he having an extramarital affair. Does the writer think she is demeaning Natasha by showing that her husband had an affair. That’s strange. Overall, unimpressive last episode, left a lot to be desired.
Exactly. I thought the same way. It's positive ending cud have a greater impact. The script fails to present Sherry as evil/abuser. Although they cud show him and his sister understand their mistake and correct their behavior. All they had was a behavioral/psychological issue of being dominant and marrying someone to keep them inferior. This cud have been shown how they correct themselves and become a better person. But no, these writers, directory, producers are just promoting divorce instead of correcting oneself. Sad 😢

It was a commendable story narrated in the best possible way based on reality, leaving a great message to the youth who surrender their self-respect, self-esteem, and value just for the sake of "chaar log kya kahein gey" which eventually make the perpetrators more powerful and entitled.

Worst acting by Alizey, she looked like a plastic doll and her husband looked like a robot, every episode same expressions, predictable dialogues, half of the time there was no dialogue but only background music. So irritating. I had to skip forward so many times to hear a dialogue 😂😂. Also why Alizey was flaunting her accent? Not natural at all. At least did not go well with her character in the drama. Uff tauba !!

Fabulous job to all the artists in this drama👏🏻A narcissist remains a narcissist. This toxic brother sister duo deserve each other's company. It's interesting that this drama dealt with both male & female narcissicm. Also the fact that an educated person can also be manipulated, is well depicted here. It's so typical of desi parents ( Alizay's mother in this case) who just get influenced by the son in law's antics. At least the father stood his ground & the sister was a sensible support. What to do when you don't have supportive parents 🤔or any family support 🤔

Narcissists don't change, nor do they feel the guilt for tormenting their victim's. Narcissists make themselves look like the abused victim , and their victims are the predators in their mind . It takes years and years for the real abused victim to heal themselves from the trauma of narcissistic abuse. Narcissists move on very quickly and repeat the same pattern in their next relationship. Hence, the ending was very unrealistic!

M also not happy with the ending. Cuz narcs dont feel sad or positive about their victim. They take a day or more to grow out of it and again blame their victim for even this riddance and they wont leave their child. They would destroy their victim for going out of their relationship using the weakness of a child. With child narc would play with their victim more emotionally destroying them. And alizay despite strong woman still cant live normally in her capacity. She cant be shown normal. Because such victims neither get property or anything nor their own intact personality. Very well said. I agree. In their heads, narc are the ultimate victims. They never forgive those who've got away with it and broken off relationship with them. Some narcs even go on to murder their children becausr they can't tolerate their former spouses living happily with their kids.

It’s really a good lesson for the new generation and especially young male and female to choose a life partner who has good character and has respect for other people weather they are rich or poor

A lot of credit goes to the writer. Very deep understanding of characters without showing too much emotional outbursts in scenes. And of course acting of Sherry and everybody else was very good. Likes this very much. Very close to reality.

Alizeh and meerab should have married in their own circle like meerab did at the end. There is a complete difference of brought up between sherry, Natasha and alizeh, meerab. As a result different mindsets.
It’s not always about men that women are not treated well. It’s also about parenting. Parents especially mothers need to brought up sons as good, responsible human beings who know the rights of other human beings and their responsibilities. And to give love , respect and confidence to their own daughters that they would be able not to allow someone to mistreat them. They should know how to take stand and handle situations.
Yet if there is no compatibility, respect and kindness between husband and wife,there is a way out. Men and women are not at war with each other rather good men and good women are supporters of each other.
I feel its very good that the show kept the focus on alizeh, and they kept it realistic in terms of sufferings of sherry and natasha, as the problem is that narcissists are even unable to suffer because they cant actually properly channelize emotions, so for them its hard to even feel sad, if that happens than they wont be narcs anymore. So the whole thing in the serial kept very realisitic and brought its focus to the victim. Loved the serial, and loved the cast its something to remember always!

The ending was good.. but the narcissists in real life never admit their mistakes they're never sorry. Anyhow the drama had to end that's why it ended up happily.. but the real narcs never change in real life.. they tortures you more if u have a kid together or if u want seperation.
