- We sailed to the Bahamas in January 2019 on the Mariner of the Seas. In our day in port in the city of Nassau, we booked a Nassau City Essentials Tour through Royal Caribbean. We had an awesome tour guide that took us to all the city highlights including the Atlantis Resort, Fort Wincastle, the Queen’s Staircase and a Rum Distillery where I had the BEST PIÑA COLADA EVER!! 🍹🙌🏻🚢 If you like my video, please like and subscribe to my channel! Very comprehensive tour, seeing what you came to see, plus some of the real Nassau. Were you harassed to buy stuff when you got to the beach?
Will, there was no harassment at all! At the end of our tour, our tour guide gave us the option of where we wanted to be dropped off and one of those options was at the Straw Market which we didn't go to. You could have directly been dropped off in front of the port entrance and potentially not have to go through any of the street vendors/shops. There were more places our city tour took us to, but it would have made the video much longer. It was seriously a fantastic tour of Nassau though! :)

How was Atlantis,when you went? We have a cruise coming up in Sept to Nassau and are thinking about going to Atlantis. Also do you have any recommendations to do or no do while at Atlantis? Did you pay directly through the cruise line for Atlantis?
