Personally, I despise manipulative technique more than anything and I even expose it, also other scorpio rising people i knew where not manipulative. Scorpio sun though, from my experience, are likely to manipulate, but it might be sometimes for good intentions, not just self-serving. Very faciniating, however I have some rather odd astrological alignments, I'm a Gemini Sun, Moon, and Mars, Taurus Mercury, Aries Venus, Scorpio Rising, and my aspects are very conflicting to eachother, I'm sure if you read my natal chart you would find some interesting yet very questionable things, and I've felt even more dissociated ever since I was made aware of how much the universe has fucked me over when it comes to knowing who I really am 😂 I know I'm super loyal, genuine and honest, but some aspects in my chart for certain planets indicate that my honesty is supposed to be a bit "elastic" which I just don't even understand because I would hate myself if I were like that, it's like the universe was just thinking, okay, we're going to take this person and make him forever confused and never let him truly know who he is so he can be dissociated and have to rely on his individuality to really find out who he is 😂 At the end of the day though, I'm very true to myself and whenever I find myself in those dark moments I always know I'll come back, and I'm glad that over the years of my upbringing, I've learned who I am through metaphorical death and rebirth (which makes so much sense) because of all the interesting phases I went through as a child, but dang, when I got beyond those phases I feel like I understand my self so much more thoroughly than I think most others would understand themselves, it's like in those moments I was definitely not that mature or grounded, but now that I'm in my 20s and can look back and laugh at how I went from so immature to so fucking mature, I've definitely explored the whole spectrum and found myself, and I'm glad to grasp all parts of me in a healthy way. I think my inner Gemini fueled by a Scorpio Rising means that once I did develop my self awareness, there's no doubt it could be the most intense, understanding, and wise it could be.
