@@CwmbranLife Perfect Cwmbran Day I’d probably start with a few laps around town to see what had changed. I’d definitely see what was on at the Congress and pop into the library. I’d go and see the sculpture ‘Family Group’ by David Horn (I just learned that was what it is called) that's on the grounds of Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre. It used to be in town in the centre of the spiral ramp that led to the upper level of the Parade. I’d get a pasty from Greggs and at some point a large gravy and chips from Caspian Fish and Chips. I’d get down to the boating lake, stop in for a pint at the Crow’s Nest, and then walk along the river to where the Olive Tree is. Back to town and stop in at CCYP before walking through Northville where I’d stop in and see one Manchester United fan in particular :) Up to Pontnewydd for a pint or four at the Top Bridge and then get a takeaway from the Golden Gate! That’s one version anyway.
The memories you just unlocked with that helicopter and running along side the rugby pitch i used to play on every week.

I can remember playing on that Helicopter back in the 80's, it's amazing it's been there for so long. Great memories.
It is a piece of history right there! 10000s of memories have been made on it!
