    I have literally watched thousands of boxing matches, it®s my favourite sport, but you have made me realize that I actually know nothing about the sport 🙁 Amazing content, you were like born to teach boxing and explain the finer details of the art of self defense! 👍👍

      Don’t give up, this is why boxing is exciting imo, the small details

      @@adriantheweny8052 No risk, there's nothing in sports that compares to the excitement of a big figth coming up , the athmosphere is electric, even when in front of the tv screen! đŸ’Ș😍 And on the contrary, if anything, one appreciates the sweet science even more when realizes what an incredible craft it really is!

    I like to jab to the body when my opponent covers to drop hands, and i also like to throw an overhand after a jab to the body. Even a 1 to the body then 2 to the head . The important thing to remember as said in the video is to slip/drop level when throwing the 1 to the body.
    Thank you awesome video, and a true gem to learn in boxing like many topics in this channels videos

    I used this in my beginner boxing sparring sessions against an experienced boxer. I got him straight in the belly... then im like it worked so well i'm going to do it again but this time I fainted it and i got him bang on the nose instead. My proudest move so far

    Hey guys, if I wanna be an expert at timing, do I just spar a bunch? Is there other things you guys have done to really understand timing?

      Comes from experience bro but we could potentially make a video on this I’ll add it to the to do list đŸ‘đŸŒ

      U should simulate situations in paired work( i don't how it called in English) . For example - u jab to the body, your opponet bring hand down to parry, and u throw hook to the head. Next time he bring elbow in for parry/block, u throw rear uppercut or something

      Personally i found that sparring a ton is the way. If you don't wanna lose your brain in the process just find someone who will go light with you and do that more than hard sparring. Drills help of course but theres nothing like the real thing to teach you. The more light rounds you do the more you can do hard rounds without getting hit as often.

      Here is what i do sometimes : i shadow box in music, and i try to make match the beat of the music with the repaeting of some one/ two moves (jab/exit, parry/counter...you name it).
      Hope this helps.

    Hey Oliver, can you make a video about tha hook you had shown at 5:38. This punch looks very usable because of the foodwork that "jump" i liked. Also you can add it to the fundamentals modul in skool.

      It’s already a video plan, will be out in a little while although it’s not a fundamental skill so will be in a different course in the free Skool when it comes out đŸ‘đŸŒ

    what style is the best in your opinion ? Dmitry never lost a round i think
    what about naouya inoue style and what is it called ?
    and what can a beginner who never boxed do in a year to be able to be in a high level, what the training program would look like in a year. Assume he has the full year free just for boxing

    • @tonytran07
      @tonytran07 Pƙed 20 dny

      It isnt about style.
      It's about you and which one you are better at.
      For instance, does Manny use Philly Shell? No. Mayweather does
      Does Mayweather use Peekaboo? No. Mike Tyson does.
      So should we all use Peekaboo? No. Whichever one feels most natural to you.
      Start with the basic guard up. In time you will know which you prefer.

      there are no "styles" ! ppl need to stop with this bullshit like its a rpg game... there are those who can and those who cant box! a good boxer knows how to do EVERYTHING! ur "style" comes from years and years of experience and tactical trial and errors and only the elite have a specific style that they mastered!

  • @hxchxc
    @hxchxc Pƙed 20 dny

    No details. mr. You need to hold shoulders frame even otherwise you lean backwards that's absolutely important to implement proper form of every detail....just saying I know nothing about it.
