Huge Lego Train Station with 342 000 Pieces - Prague Main Station Model - Praha hlavní nádraží

A very large and highly accurate Lego model of the historic Prague Main Station (Praha hl. n.). It consists of more than 342 000 pieces, weighs over 2700 kg and has a footprint of 15 square meters.
Due to its public display, the model is enclosed by glass, which makes filming a bit more difficult due to the reflections. The model was built in 2015 by the real estate development company Crestyl for its new mall in Klado, Czech Republic. Kladno is incidentally the site of a major Lego brick factory and production center. In November and December 2020, Crestyl collaborated with the Czech railway infrastructure manager Správa železnic to prominently display the model at the Prague main station terminal itself.
The trains under the brick built canopy are 8 studs wide and are custom builds depicting the Czech Pendolino, the "CityElefant" double-decker and typical blue and white passenger coaches of ČD. There are also two custom locomotives, one depicted an electric shunter and the other a "Gorilla" express loco. Construction of this Lego railway station model required 2137 hours.

Věrnou kopii pražského hlavního nádraží sestavenou z kostiček lega si mohou nově prohlédnout návštěvníci horní části odbavovací haly. Model stojí na ploše patnáct metrů čtverečních, váží přes 2700 kilogramů a skládá se ze zhruba 342 tisíc kostiček.

Dieses eindrückliche Modell bestehend aus über 342 000 Klemmbausteinen entstand 2015 zur Ausstellung in einem Einkaufszentrum in Kladno westlich von Prag. Neben Fabriken in Dänemark und Ungarn, ist Kladno eines der grossen Lego-Produktionszentren in Europa. Diese Nachbildung vom Prager Hauptbahnhof in Noppensteinen ist sehr aufwändig und detailgetreu gestaltet und wiegt über 2700 kg. Die Züge in der Gleishalle sind acht Noppen breit. Das Modell hat eine interne und externe Beleuchtung. Vermutlich handelt es sich bei diesem Bauwerk um einen der grössten Lego-Bahnhofsbauten weltweit.
