Hi, I have this model and I have a lot of vibrations (at least more than I can see in this video). The tension is set to 16mm (when the lever is engaged) for my 16mm blade, but if I raise the guard for full access and press the blade it is displaced more than 1.5mm, which in the manual is stated as the maximum displacement. Is there anything I can do other than having the wheels balanced? Is it crucial that the unit is on a level surface? Perhaps my concrete floor is not entirely flat. Thank you.
soundiscomforting I have exactly the same problem with mine. Terrible vibrations. Makita UK are not able to resolve it. Seems they don't know how to balance wheels...
The guide for miter and crappy cut. The throat is 14,01 mm and the guide makes it 12,02 mm which is almost 2 mm so the 45 ° can actually be at 43 ° or 47 ° which is annoying. I wrote to Makita France and of course never answered.
This is a rebranded now-discontinued Metabo, has lots of vibrations (you can even see that in the video) and the mitre guide is rubbish. The same "quality" as all those Drapers / Scheppachs etc. I am ordering the new Clarke which is out soon. Will post a video as soon as.
The kind of review i wanted keep up sir
