On the iPhone the app is still not showing up I’m going to contact them today but something that is concerning to me is in the instructions it says that it is only good at 25 to 30 feet away so when you’re out of range the app isn’t working or what
They r referring to the app connecting to your phone and the controller so your fine. They don’t mean the rc car
Assuming:
Tx = Transmitter
Bluetooth has a range of 30-50m
Tx - ESC = 2.4Ghz range of 400'
Configuration:
The BT200 gives the Tx Bluetooth capability which binds to the Phone for a display. The Tx connects to the ESC using 2.4Ghz.
Operation:
The Tx pulls car telemetry using the phone as a display using Bluetooth.

yesterday they told me not sure if it will ever work with iphone and wont take it back, i had to buy this, didt get it for free like most of the reviewers do so i have a different view out $100 for bt2000 and mount that is on back order with no time frame

FROM THE MOMENT THAT YOU TURN OFF THE TX (8 MIN MARK THRU 19 MIN MARK) YOU LOST BLUETOOTH CONNECTION THE BT ICON NEEDS TO BE BLUE INDICATING COMMUNICATION WITH TX. I HAD PROBLEMS WITH THIS APP USING THE DX2E . I AM USING IT WITH THE DX3 BUT I DID NOT UPDATE THE FIRMWARE BECAUSE ON 2 DX2E STOP WORKING AFTER THE UPDATE AND I DID NOT WANTED TO TAKE THAT RISK. THIS APP IS AWESOME BUT IT NEEDS A STABLE CONNECTION TO FULLY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. IT IS VERY GLITCHY. THANK YOU FOR THE VERY INFORMATIVE VIDEO.

Do you know what to use for rollout for the Felony?
What do you mean rollout
@@kiodiekin he means inside the app in order to have the correct speed you have to set the rollout and the motor pole count there will be little tabs so for rollout as an example I think for the infraction it is 1.51 and the motor poles is four now on the app you will get the correct speed not some crazy mile per hour I like 3 mph or 300 mph or something different lol spectrum has said that if you have not put the numbers in these two sections then you're not getting the correct speed I'm still trying to find out the rollout for the vorteks

my arrma felony dx3 controller stopped working after installing the pt2000. it asked to update the firmware from 1.4 to 1.5 and now the car hasn’t worked since with the pt200 or with out it. the power light is slow blinking orange. I've seen other reviews where the same thing happened to them. Has anyone found a solution to this?

@@kiodiekin since the car was new I took it back to the hobby store and they couldn't get it to work either so they did a warranty on the controller and that got the car working. I sent the BT2000 back and they sent me a new one but I didn't put it in because I wasn't going to go through this again.

Spektrum says they have no idea when or if they will make the dx 3 dashboard work with the iphone, they will sell u the bt2000 and holder but they will not take it back after u spend time trying to find the app and find out there is no app. good luck suckers !
It’s out now
The satellite signal was it being out of range from BT it’s only a 25’ range. Honestly this app and Bluetooth are trash. It’s all gimmicky nonsense.
It worked great for my use
I really don’t get the point of this video. It woulda made more sense actually using the car. This experiment is pointless. I wouldn’t waste the money on the BT and DX3 receiver.
I was checking signal reception interference since there were some issues when they came out and I was one of the first to get it and was aware of the issue before it was corrected
