I never thought the day would come where I would actually use this bag haha! If you are new to my channel, please see this prior video I have made on the LV Speedy B 25 here: • MY BIGGEST HANDBAG REG... .
I'm still on the fence whether to keep it or not. I figured I would use it for a few days to see if I can justify keeping it.
*Update: I've used the bag 3 days in a row, for short errands, and after the last day, I couldn't wait to switch out of it 😢*

Definitely keep it! They’re so hard to get right and the prices keep increasing. Even if you don’t use it often, it’s still something nice to have as part of your collection .
Yes, I think you are right. It's such a classic handbag (and some the new designs have me like 🤔) and it will be great to have in my collection. I'm sure my niece would love to have it handed down to her haha.
i just bought my speedy b25 in damier ebene and i love it i will never let it go. even if i don't use it much i will still keep it is iconic. personally i will keep it

It is such a classic piece, I would keep it for that reason but if you're not using it and could put those funds towards something else you would enjoy more that is also a good choice I think. I like that point of view better when you are doing what's in my bag, it's helpful to see the bag and how the items fit in. TFS!
I would keep it; it’s a beautiful, classic piece. I understand though it’s hard to have a piece that you just don’t reach for or use. It’s hard to justify that! Do whatever feels right 😊

I gave my 25 to my sister… I have the empreinte b and rarely use it. I would let it go if you’re not going to use it. Just me…but if you don’t like it now, I can’t see that changing. Loved the WIMB, tho! 😉

I would keep it for sure, such a classic iconic piece and yes with all the price increases... I would keep it in your collection and use it for sure, this one never goes out of style. I have the same but in Damier ebene, I also don't use it all the time but love this bag, i need to get myself an insert. That's a good price for an insert, i got one from amazon, was suppose to be for speedy b25 but was too big had to return it. Will check out your link, thank you for sharing.

Sell it! Unpopular opinion, but I feel like we should never keep anything around that's not serving us and taking up space. Cash in and get something you love or spend it on self care...or stash the money.

Sometimes the unpopular opinion is the best opinion! I'm going to give it another chance this year...and if I still don't use it, I'll sell it. I do hate having an item that just sits on my shelf😔.

I’m so happy to see you giving your Speedy B a chance!!! It is such a great bag - I have the classic non bandelière versions in Mono and DE and I feel that you can’t go wrong with this bag in your collection. I think you should keep it, but if your heart is telling you to sell it because you would prefer to put that $ on something else that you would use more, than you do you! Follow your gut. You know yourself best. But I truly find the Speedy to be a classic and great bag. 🥰 Hope you enjoy using it! 🌸

I made my own bottom for my Speedy. Cut a piece of cardboard and wrap it with a pretty fabric or bandanna then tape the fabric together with packing tape. Viola, and it's pretty too.

Keep it! Don’t sell it cause you’ll likely regret it later!! My rule of thumb moving forward is I won’t part with any of my LV pieces unless I absolutely hate it and cannot stand the bag. I regret selling my Alma BB monogram and ended up purchasing it in the DE print for $2200… which is $1000 more than what I paid for. Don’t sell!

I just ordered the regular speedy 25 in monogram because that’s the bag Audrey Hepburn asked LV to make for her back in the 60s and I’m afraid LV will discontinue it. I already have a speedy 35B in damier ebene and I normally use it when it’s raining and I’m out and about with the kids. The LV canvas are such workhorse I can’t believe LV is slowly fazing them out.
Congrats on getting a new speedy 25! You're totally right about LV canvas being a workhorse. I have some vintage monogram bags and they have held up so well!

It’s beautiful! I would sell it if you aren’t using it or you find flaws for how you like your bags to be. It isn’t doing much if it’s gust sitting in your closet! I sold a speedy 25b bc I never reached for it

@@LValiquette yes I have no regrets because in the big scheme of things it’s too expensive to just sit in my closet. And if someone could enjoy it more than that works. That’s a good idea to see how much you go for your speedy for this year! That will really tell you what you should do!
Beautiful bag. I own one speedy b 25 Damier Ebene. Sometimes I feel it is too big but I love my bag fits a lot. I use mine a few times a week specially when is kind of rainy days

I have the same one and don’t use it either. Not sure why. The small opening doesn’t really bother me but I do find it hard to find my things inside. I also don’t care for the strap, I wear it crossbody and the buckles hit me wrong. I have other straps to use but haven’t. So, I don’t know what you should do! I am keeping for now, it is a classic piece and with price increases if I ever wanted it again I wouldn’t spend the money.
YES! The strap is really what bothers me quite a bit. I did switch to a chain strap and that feels a lot better. I think I'll keep it, like you said it's a classic and the price increases are crazy!

It's a lovely classic handbag :) I did notice in the video that the handles seem to be lighter patina than the rest of the bag. I know this was an issue with another youtuber who had uneven patina. Thanks for the video :)
Yeah, the uneven patina was annoying to begin with. But then I realized that's just the nature of the beast haha. I think you (and many others here) are right - I'm going to keep it!

I am so torn between the speedy and the alma. The speedy b 25 is soooooo classic and practical but I hate the opening. The alma is so elegant and dainty but If it can fit my water bottle test.

Nope! I work at a regular, public high school. I don't carry any of my luxury handbags to work - they are just for my off time!

What do you think about the handles being a different color than the other vachetta pieces on your speedy? It’s the same on my nano speedy.
It's so funny, because when I bought it...I couldn't tell in the shop. It's only when I'm in natural light that I can tell. It bothered me ALOT at first and I tried to even it out. But now I just think that's the nature of vachetta haha. How do you feel about yours?
@@LValiquette I personally don’t like it on my nano. I wish the vachetta was consistent. It’s probably why I hardly wear it out. The main reason I haven’t gotten rid of it is because it was such a hard piece for me to acquire.

I'm not sure. I don't have the speedy 30. They do have the dimensions on the amazon page though!
