And David called Hubert on the phone so I could speak with Hubert.We talked a bit. He was sick.I couldn't help crying.I thanked him for his guidance.His love and his goodness to me. I wanted to go to his service.But David and others were afraid it would be too traumatic for me.I miss Hubert terribly every day. Hubert was an exemplary human being.
I always loved Hubert Sumlin. He is the music mastermind behind Howlin Wolf and all those classic tracks. Plus, he always seemed to be having the time of his life when he played his music. RIP Hubert. He will always be a blues giant.
