I was doing an all night show in 1985 and played this song when it came out in the Fall. Cleverly written and well performed. Glad you chose this. Who knew back then that George Strait would go on to have over forty #1 Country hits?
This is how I met my husband but he actually got up and gave me his chair because the bar was packed except for a barstool with no back so he offered to change chairs with me. We spent over 20 years together before cancer took him from me.

With all due respect but huh? Then what was #MeToo and #TimesUp about?? I for one am happy that women finally exposed all the harassment they experienced in the past. It’s not that there weren’t any gentleman in the era when this George Strait came out but let’s not kid ourselves that all behavior towards women was respectable.
