Unmanned drones have made a huge contribution to offshore sailing. The footage is incredible. Thank you Ocean Race!

Glad that I don't have to do these pesky side quests on the the Virtual Regatta Offshore game's Ocean Race.

I saw another video touring one of the boats and they had some water testing equipment on board. It would be cool to have a more in depth look or at least a senithorough overview of all the scientific equipment that's part of this race.

Do these Argo Floats pose any risk to faster moving vessels like these IMOCA 60s? Do they ping their location to the AIS when they come up?

The possibility of it hitting a vessel in that area must be waaaay lower than winning in lottery.

@Macks Corall you also may want to avoid the devise hitting a prop? I know the ocean is vast, but hitting debris does happen more and more as well... I mean, space is even vaster, but they do track space debris
