😊🙏 So nostalgia ... They trigger fond memories of the chimes of the SBS Buses & SMRT of the early 1990s 💖 ... School children carrying Umbro backpacks & playing with their Tamiya Racers with their plastic Race-Track at HDB Shophouses open-air flower planting areas ... Remembered these Tamiya Racers can be modified with their different electric motors & wheels! 1990s were much happier times for many growing up at that era ... 😊🙏

Cute for the first couple of stations. But gets a little irritating and unnecessary after that because it sounds like someone's handphone keep going off.. Especially when you are having a long train journey....
There is a traffic light for pedestrian crossing at blk 307 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6. Every day from 7am in the morning including Sunday and public holidays, the traffic signal beep is so sharp, and ends till the 9pm at night. Yes its for the visually blind pedestrians but LTA, do you need to make so loud till surronding flats residents can hear ? Do you know it beep every few minute. Hope those bedridden and they home bound caregivers find peace. Can the Member of the Parliament incharge of AMK liase with LTA to reduce the noise? This thing has been going for few years i have been keeping quiet about it. Is our visually blind pedestrian that deaf that need so loud beep ?
Keep on hike the fare, every single card got issue. And hv to wait for 10-14 WORKING days to refund. They thing all Singaporeans so luxury??? Hv some of p/timer staffs that ask for advance cos their card hv issue and wont be able to travel yo & fro work.
Got to love SMRT fixing problems that don't exist. Changing the analog display panel to a digital one that only shows a few stations. Now, replacing station alert with unnecessary chimes. This is like having your snooze alarm go off every 2 minutes. Annoying as hell. Honestly, who does SMRT survey when launching such initiatives? SimplyGO was an epic fail. Clearly they surveyed only yes men. I guess they surveyed the same yes men for this too.
