- Here is a new ASMR story about the world of wine. For tonight's talk, I invite you to explore its history from the very beginning, including the history of famous wine regions like Bordeaux and Champagne. We also make a little wine tasting session and I explain the most important elements that distinguish the styles of wines, the varieties of grapes, the terroirs, as well as a few tips about tasting, storage and how to make the best of it!

It's interesting the sales of bottles to end users have gone up pretty significantly but due to the collapse of the restaurant industry, the overall sales of units have not gone up as much, or even declines for many distributors, depending on the sales compositions of their portfolios
Can you do a whole video on Eleanor of Aquitaine? She's such a fascinating historical character. This made me think about the wine tasting video from a few years ago...a favorite of mine, and now a new favorite!

Some people (Including myself) feel nervous ordering wine. There's always that fear of getting judged, but you made it a point to reassure everyone that they're free to enjoy their wine however they like. That was very sweet!
M7 true, but remember wine should enhance your life and not cause you stress. Don't be nervous, learn the basic ( its not that hard) and you ll seem like an expert to others.
I have rewatched the old wine tasting video which was only 10 minutes, about 100 times!! Now you give us a new 1 and a half hour long version. Thank you SO much! I love your videos. Please don't ever leave CZcams again!!

Most ASMR videos I play to fall asleep, but these videos I play throughout the day cause the subject matter is always interesting.

There are a lot of ASMR recordings out there, but no one can beat the French Whisperer. He consistently delivers in-depth and fascinating content with a dark velvet voice that both soothes and enthralls. Ahh, Châteauneuf du Pape is also my mum's favourite! (I myself prefer lightly fruity whites.)
And even though I've heard this fact before, I still think it's wild that historical cultures like the Greeks diluted their wine so heavily. We'd all be uncultured drunkards to them nowadays, even the wine snobs.
Well yes, but the wine you have today is already diluted before shipping. Their wine was made similar, yet it was alot stronger than ours, almost like port.

Fun!! I have been in the wine business for most of my life, and I love hearing other people speak about it passionately. I agree that people are sometimes intimidated by wine and I hope your channel and this presentation bring some of them to the pleasures of exploring it

I try to, but I have my limitatons on science because I am really just an amateur, and I would hate to misrepresent things. For example I thought about making a video about quantum physics and the string theory, but I had to conclude I didn't understand them well enough to vulgarise properly...
I would very much love a video about string theory, but if you feel like that's a easily misrepresented subject i understand not wanting to make it! Even though you are an amateur your video standards are on the high end, and i appreciate all your effort =D

The latter plays a drunkard with no style and decorum who nevertheless bests the professional wine connoisseur played by Price.

Just started my own yeast cultures the past few weeks for Champagne, Sourdough Bread, and Wine! I'm so pumped. Hoping to make some of my own Wine/Bread/Champagne soon! Compared to French Wine/Bread I'm sure it wont be too great though😂
I won't judge you, the few times I tried to make bread it looked like a burnt meteorite (but harder).
